MTV Meets the Japanese "Samurai Guitarist" MIYAVI and we got to know his best song to dance to, the inspiration behind his guitar playing style, the meaning behind his name, and so much more! 🙌 🎸
Everyone time I hear him speak English I can't help but feel so proud, lol. I used to follow him back in the mid-2000s and I remember back then in interviews he would say how much he wanted to learned English. So many musicians say that they do but rarely do any of them actually follow up. Imagine my surprise when I see him re-surface again gaining more popularity in the States and doing English interviews!!
Gackt is another one who speaks English. But I also believe he lives in America now. Miyavi and Gackt know each other back when they both lived in Japan. They have big brother little brother vibes.
First time to meet Miyavi was in the concert of Eikichi Yazawa in Tokyo. Really great guitarist almost stole the show!!!! Crowd was ecstatic and wild shouting, I said to myself this guy will go places and indeed he was!!!. Seeing him with Jolie's movie, playing the theme song for Mission Impossible and many more ahhhhh going gaga over you Miyavi san💐💐💐💕💕💕🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
In an alternate timeline he would have been a footballer and would have played amongst Japans golden generation ( Nakata, Inamoto, Ono, Nakamura,Takahara)
@@Hayri2011 It is a fair point, but in my opinion, a completely original composition would be more appropriate for an introduction video. The MTV people had so many cool and iconic ones to choose from too!
It is interesting what he says about spirit and loosing energy. I just had to think about BTS song "Black Swan", which discusses this topic for artists. Very interesting Musician.
