Getting Up and Running With a Motus Mini 

Ayeeee got mines 3 days ago already up to 500 tmotus points!! No issues here quick and fast set up and hotspot not issue connects quick but I am using a fold 5 so may have an advantage there but very cool overall Loving Motus!!

Tbh watching that the instructions are pretty clear. 1- It wants to know your phone hotspot details to transmit to the device 2-it transmits them but then needs to clarify and register (thats why it needs your home wifi to save data) Thats it in a nutshell, i dont think you need the app running all the time but does need the hotspot to transmit the data (makes sense), the more you drive the more you are rewarded, dimo only has to be driven once. Its like saying you havent had any hive rewards because your car hasnt left the driveway. This could be a potential bigger earning than dimo for those that do drive often.

If your cell phone carrier is T-Mobile or Mint Mobile, you're SOL right now, as T-Mobile and Mint Mobile will only work with Bluetooth connectivity, and Soarchain hasn't come out with that technology yet. It's being worked on as was supposed to be released "by the end of February", but unless it is released tomorrow, that release estimate is incorrect. No other Bluetooth connectivity release information has been provided.

So I got the set up running on the first day then the second day it wouldn’t connect to my personal hotspot. So I tried logging out to see if it helps but when I screen shot my word phrase log in it was just blank. So now I’m not able to log in at all, is there a way to re register the device with a new log in/wallet? Thanks

Is there a difference between the Soarchain Motus Mini and the Motus Mini sold by helium deploy?

Just got mine last night. The app keeps crashing when connected to mobile phone hotspot. Turn hotspot off the app works but cannot register frustrating. I have a iphone 14 pro max with current updates. Anyone got this same problem or if someone can help me I would really appreciate it. Have a nice day.

This is not Dimo. Had a couple and gave up and sold them. Way too hard to set up and keep activated - you have to connect it to your phones hotspot every time to use it. Pass.

Does anyone know how if possible to run two motus mini off of one account? I tried but 2nd motus will not connect to the same wallet my first motus is connected too.

If drivers are expected to connect the Motus device to their car every time they go somewhere, this is a HUGE deal breaker. NFW will drivers stick with a device that must be manually connected. The only way that would be acceptable is if you drive for long periods of time. If you're in and out of your car frequently, good luck with that.

Bought one tried it did not like to much of a pain keeping connected. My dimos are doing the job. I sold mine.

I have the same problem. it makes me extremely frustrated, I have to use the hotspot of my 2nd iPhone to be able to “car sync” it is a real chaos compared to my Dimo ​​macaron (2 minutes and the macaron was installed) motus mini you are never sure whether it will work. After provisioning the device i get the error where the V2N remains as 'not connected', and the 'car data sync' is stuck in 'awaiting sync' - has anyone else had this issue and fixed it????

Will the Uber driver app even connect with this thing connected at the same time?

I have an extra phone I keep in my car for my V1 radar detector. It has an unlimited data helium Mobile plan for $20 a month so the hotspot stays on all the time unless the phone dies. My motus stays connected but it doesn't get any data from the car and I haven't earned any tokens since the first week. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it but when entering my seed phrase it gives me an error. Now I can't sign back in to my account. Such a horrible user experience.
