I love my dad just because he didn't care what i played. My dad would "buy it for himself" then either hand it to me or he would play it if it was a game he wanted too and we would both play multiplayer games together.

HELL YES! I'm a vr pvp game and while it ain't COD it can somehow be even worse because of how few restrictions are put on VR Games. Im the kind players guide type but if i see a dang squeaker i will ream them out with no mercy. Some squeakers have been chill abd earned my mercy and respect but it's a rare occasion.
Whenever I have a bad day. I boot up the old MW2 campaign and play for an hour or two just to remember the fun times we used to have as kids playing in those horrendous lobbies full of trash talking squeakers, raging blue collar dads, wannabe gangbangers and that one quiet lobby stomper with a Chinese or Japanese username.
