I afraid I agree with Charlie. Herb gardens smell amazing. They're mostly evergreen so look lovely all year round. No they're not particularly manicured but I actually like that too. But there's no reason why you couldn't mix up herbs and flowers if you want. Can't wait to see the garden and greenhouse whatever your planting plans are. It's going to look fabulous whatever you plant 🪴
I definitely agree with others that have posted. I am certainly addicted to all of yours and Charlie's vlogs, as well as your IG posts. I can't get enough of them. I even go back and have viewing marathons of past vlogs and IGs. I started following you and Charlie about 6 months prior to covid-19, so 2019 and I feel so lucky, because you're so uplifting. You were and still are a life line to so many people. Just keep doing what you are doing, darling. We all love you, Charlie, Dexter and Dixons!

Love your vlogs - an hour is fabulous - never worry they are too long - the time just fly’s by - we had just finished some cleaning, washing, dusting and vacuuming - so I grabbed a jasmine tea out my feet up and had a wonderful 59 minutes ❤️

I really enjoy the home update and gardening videos. I live in America and would really enjoy seeing Charlie explain why you use the raised beds, why despite being so cold your greenery is so ahead of ours, and general explanation of how (and more importantly, why) things are done the way they are. I specify Charlie because he has a unique way about him that I find interesting. A cross of all the best, Jeremy Clarkson, Ali Gordon and Robin, Man for Himself. I would watch and listen to that channel. Antiques, construction, gardening etc. Think about it, if you have the time.
Yes! The dark wood furniture is such a lovely home / room improvement, it really does look like the furniture has always been in the house, it's right at home. I'm so happy to see you both so happy about your pergola, you've worked hard for that! Sadly that’s not how it works 😞 You can only get legally married in a licensed location. They’d have to get married in a registry office and have a celebrant do a ‘fake’ wedding under the pergola.
@@hazelscobbie8290 Scotland’s laws changed a few years ago. Much more flexible. In England, it must be a licensed venue, which must be a permanent structure. It’s so archaic
@@lynseycobden203 the Law Commission is currently looking at new proposals to allow weddings in England and Wales to take place in other outdoor venues including private gardens - it’s due to go before Committee early next year I believe.

I thought I was kinda weird but I too love church bells so much. Since we live in Florida all year, we vacation on Nantucket Island for a few weeks in the summertime. It is an island up north in New England and summer temperature is moderate sweater weather at night. it has cobblestone streets and three major churches downtown. The church bells make the town so charming. One of my fondest memories. Comments on the wonderful things about this blog.. Pergola…oh my …make up box with perfect light, dresses that had chiffon material that had grand movement. Talk of new car, fluffy hair that had great volume, spying on guys in garden, regal curtains in bedroom…so much more….love it all.love mj

I agree with Charlie this time honey. Plus if you’re nipping out from the kitchen, you don’t want them too far away 💜💕. Also with your hair, you can save it by putting some hair oil through it, followed by spraying hairspray on your hands and running them through. Quick, easy and heat free 💕💜. I love the movement of that blue dress, gorgeous 💕💜.

Hi Josie, I work in a car dealership and have to say it has been an unusually turbulent time for the manufacture of new cars. As you mentioned the issue with semi-conductors and also other world events have hugely disrupted everything. Unfortunately, it is out of the dealerships control and they are probably also working with limited information. I just wanted to let you know in case you feel like you are being fobbed off by the dealership you are dealing with. I am sure they are just telling you as much as they know. It is also not the usual experience of buying a new car xx
Couldn’t agree more about “Brand New cars - my hubby waited over a year for his - drive him crazy. My lovely white sporty number was 6 months old and a “showroom” one so had all the little “add on’s” and great sterile system etc - and I fell for it - and picked it up the following week - ❤️
I think I was lucky because I only waited 6 weeks and my new car is electric. However… when it arrived at the garage they knocked it getting it off the transporter and it had to go to the body shop to have a bump taken out so I had to wait an extra few days 🥴

I have wanted to comment on the pond for a long time now. You can lob all kinds of chemicals in it but you really need to aerate it and get the water moving. Is it a waterfall next to the pond? That woud be perfect for aerating. Something more to try before taking more drastic measures 🙂.

You’re going to need to invest in multiples of the rattan belt… it’s so useful in styling your beautiful dresses! Maybe a variety of shades of cream, tan, white, ivory…. I’ve ordered one for myself, the soft pink long dress is amazing, what a stunning style and looks perfect on you!
Thought I’d add a comment with information about new car delays. We have a car leasing company and are as frustrated as our customers. The excuses are valid. We had major delays with the pandemic like all manufacturing, and just as we were seeing light at the end of the tunnel and microchips were being made again, the war broke out. The Ukraine produces 70% of the worlds neon, a gas used in the lasers for manufacturing microchips. The war also effects palladium production in Russia. Palladium is used to produce catalytic converters in combustion vehicles.
You could mix flowers and herbs to make the herb bed more attractive. Flowers like lavender, calendula, echinacea mix well with herbs. Plus a lot of the herbs bloom beautifully, think of rosemary and sage. Also there are benefits of combining herbs and flowers like flowers repel pests and attract pollinators. Love your new pergola!

Your windows look like they are on a pulley system? My childhood home had windows like that. The house is really old. Some parts have been updated. My father still lives there. Very cool.
The detail on the bedroom curtain is infinity loops. Your hair turned out beautifully. Although there appeared to be snowflakes blowing across the flashlight in the night garden scene, you are looking very springy. Lol I hope H&M has better quality clothing for Spring than the winter collection. I bought a slew of their sweaters in one shopping spree and every single sweater piled. BADLY. I wore each sweater only once. It was pretty embarrassing. I won't give up on H&M just yet. Looking forward to seeing the Spring fashion.

You’re hair seems similar to mine in that the silk sausage/overnight curls don’t really work or hold in your hair. I’ve switched to a product called a Duchie Bow from Queenies Australia and it’s a game changer. It’s like the silk sausage but you heat it up slightly in the microwave, twist your hair around it and wait about 40 minutes and voilà curls.
Regarding the mini brushes with packaging, when I was a student - I was still picky on my make up. Back then I did actually use those as I did not really have separate sets.

Kerry Washington's smoothie that she gives the credit for her glowing skin: from memory so you might want to check! 2servings: 2 heads romaine lettuce, 1/2 cup spinach, 1/2 lemon, 1 apple, 1 pear, 1 banana. I up the spinach and lemon and add 1/2 cup of Greek yogurt.
Oh that MISA dress is stunning, I've been looking at their dresses and their so fab. I love the new curtains, they remind me of Gone with the wind when Scarlett had no money so they made a dress out of the green curtains and it was beautiful 💚😍
