Little tip from an experienced gardener, lemon balm will spread like crazy too, it is also part of the mint family. So will your bee balm! Lovely video.

Everything looks beautiful! My chickens ruin almost everything I plant, even things planted in large planters! They dig big holes to take their dustbaths and look for worms so we now have to keep them contained😢. I hope your chickens are good girls.

Loved your flower bed and the plants you chose. I have some of them😊. The idea of putting mulch it’s great! I planted some tomatoes in a flower bed but for some reason they’re not doing well. Yarrow in Sweden are really difficult weeds.. They turn up everywhere and they have underground roots , that make them spread.. so if there is drought, they like it even more.. 😵

You do a lot of labor to remove the weeds and grass. Just wondering if a roto-tiller would be easier. In a few minutes of pushing it, all the weeds and grass would be turned over and the soil would show. Yarrow is very invasive, so if you'd put that at the back of your large flower garden, it would be better, otherwise it would take over another's flower spot. I've had this happen to me, and I was totally suprised by it. It grows really fast, too.

For the most part! Oscar used to play a bit rough with our male duck but now they are best friends! I just love them so much and feel grateful that everyone gets along🥰

I have found an organic lavender essential oil lotion that the bugs, even mosquitos seem to hate. I wet my hands add 1 pump of lotion and apply to legs, arms,neck...everywhere. Works great for me, good luck.😊
