my mom would keep asking me if there was anything red and one day when she my mom was in the shopping mall i saw wit and i was like wth is that and called my mom and she said change into something else and came home and teached me how to manage with it

One time in middle school I ran out of the class crying and there was stairs that lead to outside. I don’t remember why i did it but i think i was mad at the teacher. But then it took 20 minute to find me 😂
Like my cousin she's just 6 months but her mum died on cancer then she only has 2 older brothers and her dad I don't have the audacity to ask he what she did then without her mum
When I got my first one, I told my mom and when I got home from school later that day, I found a huge gift bag filled to the brim of chocolate, pads and a note saying I’ll always be her baby🥺
When I first got my period, my dad was making me go to school with nothing. But my mom made a whole entire PowerPoint presentation on why I should stay home
When my sister got her period, she had no idea what it was and just assumed she was pregnant. She freaked out and told no one about it and just used tissue paper to stuff it. A few days later, fortunately, she learnt about it in school and told my mum 🙂 But because of her, when I got my period, I was chill, cuz I knew exactly what it was. I used pads, told my mum and went to school 😌
My mom had told me my whole life about it but failed to mention that it isn’t constant for the rest of your life so I was really freaked out. Plus when I got my first one it was during an fsa (Florida state assessment) and the librarian decided to seat everyone like boy, girl, boy, girl etc… so I was next to these two boys very large for their age taking a test that I couldn’t afford to leave for. Somehow didn’t let the boys notice or my mom and I just kinda didn’t tell her until I got it again the next month hehe😅
I found out my sister got her period a few weeks ago and how I found out is… I found a bloody pad on the bathroom floor at our grandmas house and I knew it was hers cause it was on top of her close😬😬😬😬
I wish my parents would have done that, I got mine mid class and I went to the bathroom PANICKING for like 45 minutes intil my teacher sent one of the girls to check on me and I had to TELL HER That got mine and she went told my teacher and brought me a pad, she’s still my friend to this day at least
I literally just got my first period and was looking for some videos to help research and ive come across this, and now the pain in my lower area has suddenly stopped because of how comforted I am by this :D

When I got mine at school I luckily had a friend who had already gotten her period so she gave me a pad. And when I came home I sent my mum a message and she said to get a pad from the cupboard and that I can skip swimming that day. When she came home we were both acting like normal, then she went to the shop she came back with; daytime and nighttime pads, tampons and chocolate for me, didn’t explain anything except that tampons are good for swimming. When I got back upstairs she sent me a link to a website that explained everything😂

First period story to beat all first period stories. It has a valuable lesson, which is, don't chew on plastic. Soo I was 13, I was supposed to be at a hotel party but I didn't go. Instead I was hanging out at my house and I was mindlessly chewing on the pointy part of the pen cap and accidentally swallowed it. A hour later, horrific pain in my stomach and all the times my mom said "don't chew on plastic if you swallow it you could puncture a hole in your stomach/intestines" I go to the bathroom, see blood and become convinced that I am internally bleeding so severely that it's just exiting whereever it can. I am sobbing as I tell my mom. She laughs at me, tells me I started my period and I have cramps and I dramatically yell "YOU DONT EVEN CARE ABOUT ME. IM INTERNALLY BLEEDING, IM GOING TO DIE AND YOU DONT CAREEEEEEE" 🤣🤦🏻♀️ I was so scared and so mad she wasnt rushing me to the hospital...but turned out she was right and I'm a idiot

Man, when I got my first period I was crying because I didn’t even know what it was so I told my mom, and then she told me that it’s normal and it happens to every single girl, But sometimes it can be hard to handle like the cramps, and everything y’know?
Menstruation was normal for me and happened on my mom’s birthday which was 5 days before my own 13 th birthday It was a Saturday because I had no school and mom had pads hidden for me. She treated this very normally and I still had some housework to do.
u can do stuff while on a pad. but u should prob rest, eat, sleep, i do stuff when im on light flow cuz heavy flow makes us feel gloomy and stuck on bed 😀
Last year something weird happened with my menstrual cycle. I had trouble breathing and starting getting headaches. I ended going to the ER one time it was so bad. Now I'm on birth control and only have periods 3-4 times a year. It's nice to know both of you aren't embarrassed about it :D
I WISH my parents, more specifically my dad, acted like this. My dad always shamed me or made fun of periods and stuff like that. (mood swings, cramps, etc.)
I’m just grateful I got my first period in lockdown so it wasn’t such a worry for me. I did get my period one time in school but I had all of the things I need and I had done it loads of times before so it wasn’t much of a worry for me :)
Hahah I got my period recently I still haven’t told my parents, I just don’t know how, ig I’ll wait for like next month or they will prob see the blood in my underwear and ask me about it. IM SICK SO I DONT GOTTA WORRY FOR SCHOOL😩 Update: I have officially gotten my period and have no idea how to tell my parents. My underwear is always covered in blood and don’t get me started when I sneeze.

Before you read the rest: I'm on my dad's account. I'm 12 years old and today at school out of nowhere I felt like somebody STABBED my litteral stomach. I didn't start luckily 😅 🙃 Also I got a new dog today
and when you first get it, it's going to be scary but don't worry your going to be fine I think the 1st time it's always scary but you will get used to it
I was to scared to tell my parents bc it would be really awkward, so instead I told my favorite teacher because she is like a mother to me and she told me everything to do 😂
as someone who got their 1st period 4 days ago, I wish my parents snuck me out of school to eat ice cream on the couch but I had no idea it was even there because I never use the school bathrooms, mostly because of tons of rumors that rats have infested them 😬. I probably spent at least like 4 class periods bleeding and when I got home we got it all sorted out 👍
When I got my first period I was on vacation in a rental home with all white furniture and no actual period products so that was definitely an experience

my first period story (november 16 2023) i left school early because i had a migraine like stomachache and i did not feel good. my dad came to pick me up and i went home. i went to the bathroom to go take a #2 and when i wiped i saw blood. i panicked thinking i was dying because i had a bloody stool. nope. i looked down to my underwear and realized it was my first period. my mom was 45 minutes away so i had no choice but to tell my dad. he called my mom and helped me clean up, and when my mom got home she took me to walmart to get me everything i needed, along with some comfy sweatpants and LOTS of hugs❤
I got lucky with mine. I got mine during Covid when schools were running but you had to wear masks. The day I got it, my school shut down for two weeks because of too many cases of Covid in the school. I also didn’t notice until I got home that it had started.
