Ikr!! I'm old (54) grew up listening to most genres of music. I've always kept up with contemporary music and I've only recently been turned on to Tom and Nova. I am blown away!
They supposedly have a GFBF album done, I guess they're just waiting for the right time, it's been on the backburner for a couple years, i can't wait for it and I hope we get it soon
Interesting. I was contemplating "As Far as the Stars" this morning. I came to the conclusion that that album is a rock opera. It doesn't have a plot or a story, but it does have an interesting character arc that the three protagonists travel over the course of the album. It's not entirely in chronological order, and there is really only the one character arc that all three characters travel together with only minor variations between them (with Ego Trip being the only exception to that rule; it's my favorite song of the album, partly because it places the characters into an interesting conflict with one another, where in every other song they're always in synchrony). It's really good too. Did I mention that? I really like "As Far as the Stars". Many of the songs are great individually, but work even better as a cohesive whole.

Just found Tom’s music a couple days ago and been binge watching everything I could find. I’m absolutely amazed by the diversity in his music. I just found out about Tom n Nova a month ago from newer songs. Can’t believe I’ve never come across them as I’m on RU-vid to much. Just LOVE them and been jamming to new stuff and wondering about their early years to have such a strong message and BOOM here I am 😁. This song is as amazing as the new stuff. Such powerful heart lead lyrics. AMAZING
this is beautiful. My boyfriend of 12 years actually probably saved my life a few years back. I was drinking myself to death, and I have held him up through a few mental breakdowns and stays in the psych ward over the years. Its true that it is ultimately up to the individual to accept help and try to change for the better, but having someone who loves you and will help you fight for yourself is such a game changer. You two are a beautiful couple and an amazing team. Bless you both.

Some people can't be helped no matter how hard you try. They have to want to be helped and if the will isn't there you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. I speak from experience and had to let go of someone I cared about immensely but in the end they turned out to be a self admitted narcissistic sociopath. I still think about her and the good times we had but at the same time all the horrible tragic times outweigh the good and she would of only brought me down even further into her bleak misery she tried so hard to disguise.
Same here guys.. been listening to Tom for a while now.. not quite a year yet.. but been looking up all his old stuff as well and to find out that him and nova had a band called gfbf .. my mind was blown..i love the music they created together.. then I found out that move had her own music before she was with Tom.. and that music is awesome as well.. I love it all lol I fell like I been living under a rock after finding all this good music 😂.

This is my favorite song currently and an amazing video! Shows two people struggling through life and additions that are there for each other. Life is not about becoming perfect or finding someone perfect, it's about always striving to becoming a better version of yourself and finding someone who is doing the same. So you can both help each other in this valiant yet very hard effort that lasts a lifetime.

I'd love to hear Tom and Novas story as well but there's little chance among the Big Brother and 90 Day Fiance shows to have them anywhere where large numbers of people can see them. I found you through the stereotypical songs; but this, this song is truly golden. Giving hope to all, it doesn't need to be about anything specific. The vagueness of the issues you present helps it reach a wider audience. You have a gift, I'll always consider myself a fan. Sometimes this speaks louder than politics, not that I dislike any of your music. Songs like this and "I wish." Those are feelings all of us humans have.
