I think it's because rather than switching concepts just to do a new concept, they're telling a story with their switch up.

Yes seems like they have no problem switching many concept. They looks great too performing fingertip & fever, it doesn't sound awkward. I watch their b-side stage that's called L.U.V , it's so different with Gfriend style and they nailed that concept too.

I think it's because others overdo it to the point it's cringy. Some rap parts are unnecessary and sometimes ruin the songs. There are songs that sound like 4 in 1 😐. I enjoy some songs like that because they're catchy but lose my interest real quick. This song is catchy but soft in the ears so I can listen to it over and over. Gfriend has their own essence and brings something unique to the table.

Their outfits are not revealing and there is no sexual poses in their choreo, that's the real girl crush, girl power. I love how Gfriend is so unique in kpop.

I wish that BigHit Label decided to make an mv for it, since they are under BH now, the production cost is not a problem, cause BH will support SouMu.
