ASW put so much time into making this character, that Asuka has different voice lines when taking damage - depending on whether you have Mana, or it's at 0.

​@@finallyanime​コメコメ, a Case 2 Asuka user (who sadly, may have quit after the Asuka nerfs) said: "As for the cube speed, those who could erase it originally could erase it, and those who weren't willing to didn't erase it in the first place." - meaning, they disagreed with the nerfs that made hitting cubes easier and slowing the cubes down overall. I do believe the nerfs were necessary, because it still weakens Case 3 to an extent; but as a result, it looks like Case 1 and 2 suffered more from the nerfs as a whole. With that being said, if you bought the season 2 pass, and complain about how "broken" Asuka is, that's your fault for not labbing counterplay; Asuka is probably the biggest knowledge-check character in the game, along with Faust - but also the fact that the character has a win condition, but no specific flowchart also adds to the difficulty of fighting it. If you don't know when to press your character's 3f/4f/5f normal, 6p through gaps, or when to yrc, then you need to go into training mode and figure it out - will it be easy? No, but you'll do much better the next time you fight this character. I see far too much complaining about characters in this game - even from top NA/EU players - top players using top 1-5 characters, and complaining about other top 1-5 characters. Regarding Asuka: to me, it feels like just because they don't like fighting Asuka/hate the character (which is understandable), they want their character to have a 7:3 or 8:2 advantage or something, just because they're too lackadaisical to go into training mode and implement counterplay. However, I'm not really surprised, because I've seen some NA/EU players complain about Asuka players who used Case 1 or 2 in matches; if you're losing to those 2 and have the season pass, then you only have yourself to blame... Gobou said Case 1 & 2 are too weak; so when you think about it, this is equivalent to fighting Asuka as if he were a lower-mid tier character....

if you want to see a more defensive nago I'd suggest iwan. One of the most patient players. Could be a pot player with that patience

bit late but nago has a mechanic where he enters blood rage if he blood meter is full while in this state, his health will drain constantly so if you get comboed whilst in blood rage, ggs

@@danpiedra9008 its a mixed bag On one hand you get some high dmg combos On the other hand you constantly lose hp And going into it forces you to go through an animation And if you arent in a safe position to do so… well gobou will tell ya

Assuming you are new to the game: It´s what happends when the blood gauge, the bar he has above the tension bar, gets full. His bar works like this: everytime he uses a special move, the gauge will fill a 1/4 of the bar, but if he uses a normal that uses the sword, it will drain a little. If the bar gets full, Nago will enter in Berserk State when he will put out his mask and his sword will gain a red aura. In this state, Nago normals gets inmaculate reach and gains a new super (One of the best in the game) but the backdraw is that he loses the ability to use his special moves and loses health constantly, meaning that, if he get´s combo´d he will get A LOT of damage. Nago's gameplan consist in find a balance between using his special moves and his sword normals to keep the blood leves in check, because, if he reaches the berserk state, It will mostly mean game over. Another facts that should be known is that the Berserk state will only last a couple of seconds, stoping the health drop the moment he comes back to his normal state, so, if he manages to keep the opponent away during Berserk state, he can still survive and win the match.

He got a good hit on no mana asuka and tried to go for the kill, dont see an issue here
