🔎 About socials:
If I tag socials, then this should be done for ALL players (without a single exception), and not just for one person. Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I am convinced that it's extremely dishonest to tag contacts of few people and not to tag all the rest, so there will be no social links in description.
But I respect the players whose matches I post. Therefore, if you are sure that videos presented "as is" are not acceptable, I will stop posting content with your participation and remove the ones posted earlier.

Bonding and dissolving is such a great move because it's a poke. People really need to start utilizing her moves that allow her to get closer in base mode. They also need to take advantage of astonishment so they can gain meter from projectiles at a distance. ABA is dangerous when used correctly.

axl's best MUs are also his most boring ones. they're usually all slow characters but are really scary if they get in so he's gotta play super lame, and aba is no exception to this

I think Joker Trick is still better because it allows Johnny to get closer. You either corner them or brake the wall from ridiculous distances. It just doesn't hit jumping opponents but that is not as much of a difference

baiken's anti-zoning super is a plus on block vacuum launcher that works from the air too, tendril is useful but it can NOT compete w/that

Why would you ever approach Aba in this matchup? She literally can't do anything if you vary your pokes as axl, her counter is also too slow to react with, you have to predict, and that can get you blown up

I don't think it's that clear cut -- I don't think Axl actually dies to a Normal Mode 632146K here. Maybe there's a chance it does kill, but if it doesn't (or it gets blocked), A.B.A is stuck at near-full screen with not-quite-a-bar of meter and zero Jealousy gauge against an Axl. However, just holding onto the bar without expending it means Axl has to play around the possibility of getting hit by it, which makes it easier for A.B.A to close the gap and eventually hit him with her disjointed 5H. Maybe going for the super there *could* work since A.B.A *could* build back the meter and go for the same play she went for in this clip afterwards, but as we see both at 2:25 and 4:32, A.B.A can really struggle to build meter if she's stuck in Normal Mode in this matchup. I think the A.B.A player made the right choice there by forgoing the super whiff punish in favor of a more neutral oriented gameplan.

@@kaiok6776 nah, she has it in normal mode too, it's just not as good. it can catch axl zoning and give u enough of a knockdown to do install safely, if you think it's worth spending the resources to play as a real character in neutral

0:10 And here we see the MASSIVE problem with playing against ABA. IT'S BORING. SHE'S BORING. She stalls the game into OBLIVION. She's so boring that Axl has to PULL HER IN so he doesn't have to spam 1 combo at her. I have never hated fighting a character more. She's just booooooring.
