I never got an answer,but i found Rois (carl) twitter, and his twitter name is "Roi_carl" he only mentions carl and no mention of Sol (most JP players have a list of the characters they play in their twitter bio) so im going to stick to the assumption that they're not the same person
both Roi's have a funky, reset-heavy style of play, and both played the blue-skinned demon color... although the Carl Roi plays a brown coated color in CP. Hardly any sidewinder loops, drops shit mid combo to iad into j.p... I can remember in cs2 and extend the carl player Roi had funky, unpopular resets, too. I could just as easily be seeing things that are not there. It's probably impossible, without being able to read japanese, to confirm whether or not they're the same player.
