Build up starts from passing the ball and control it. With this pitch you can't so you'll have to play long balls. If you pass it you'll have to control it as well if you miss a control you are risking a counter attack

It was a much improved performance overall by the Black Stars. Yes, build up play was slow and laboured in the first half, in part because of the degraded pitch, and particularly because the team has barely had time to gel together as a unit. Coach Otto Addo needs to see to that as they go into the next game against Niger.
I stopped watching the match after the first half because I didn't the first half performance at all. For the pitch and even the camera, I won't say anything. It's just so sad
