I feel elated watching these splendid performances by the All Female Ghana Armed Forces personnel at the 60th Anniversary celebrations. For any onlooker, who might read the captions will mistake these performances as being carried out by the advanced countries men and not all women personnel. Let's support this course, extend it to all the other security services, to enrich our chances of making it to the world at large. I must put it on record that the Ghana Armed Forces is a major contributor to the nation's GDP through the Peace Keeping and other activities. It is in this light that the need to procure a befitting Aircraft for the Ghana Armed Forces, which is being misconstrued by those with myopic and infantile argument that it is meant for the President of the Republic should be shunned off, and settled once and for all. Belated congratulations to the All Female Ghana Armed Forces for chalking 60 years of service to the nation and mankind.
Excellent, dynamic ladies! Totally impressed. May Ghana never have to use you except for normal service and parades. Please support the plight of women. I beg to differ with Madam. Women are aware of their potential for non customary professions. They have been discouraged and prevented by society and male domination.
As someone who spent 18 months as a subaltern with the 2nd Bn the Ghana Regiment longer ago than I care to mention many congratulations for a very smart parade,
Nice one prepare be very well you shouldn't think you've passed it all keep on doing strong training and advice them very well from blibling that's what some individual use against Africans soldiers to against Africans country to be well of that I like what you're doing I'm proud to be a Ghanian
Able,Brave, Courageous, Determined,Efficient, Focussed, Gallant with All abilities and capabilities.Great Day and it's memories for years after.Long live our women who dared and braved the storms and conquered to serve God and country.
Absolutely professional, enthusiastic and beautiful parade by those serving security ladies but unfortunately the beauty of the parade has been taken away by the confused state of the GAF. You can see some of the top senior officers using the British hand salute and other using the American hand salute, that's very confusing a reflection of the entire Country.
The Navy of commonwealth militaries have always saluted with palms facing downwards while the Army and Airforce salute with palms outwards. How do you not know this simple fact?
Le Ghana est un pays bien civilisé, dans aucun pays francophone on ne trouvera pas un bataillon composé uniquement de femmes. Quand le Ghana veut faire quelque chose il le fait sans lésiner sur les moyens.
How do we know that they will not run away in times of war? At least they look better and readier than Nigerian women soldiers. I believe Ghanas military is missing something. They have to institute weight maintenance or a certain milage run weekly as in the US army, if you are not able to reach that treshold you are discharged after being sited a number of times. Some of these women are overweight. Please do not put uniformes on them, get them ready to fight. Fufu should not be allowed at military installations.
They tried their best, but they can learn a thing or two about military discipline, precision and coordination from the ladies in the Nigerian armed forces. Let them reach out to their sisters there.
