Sometimes we would be lucky enough to be in Valletta when the folk singers were singing Ghana. Although we couldn’t understand Maltese the wonderful sound of guitar and mens’ voices was captivating. How l miss this beautiful island. I was there again last year, and hope to be there again soon.
if you like Ghana without understanding Maltese, I can't imagine how much you would love it if you did understand, cause the loveliest thing about Ghana is the funny / cheeky things they say to each other, all of it rhymes and all is spontaneous :)
