Shri Ghati Subrahmanya is one of the must visit tourist place and Lord Subrahmanya’s temple near Bangalore located near Dodadaballapur of Bangalore Rural District. Ghati Subrahmanya is around 60kms from Bangalore. The temple is belongs to Lord Subrahmanya and Lord Lakshmi Narasimha and in history of the temple says that the idol of Shri Subrahmanya is self originated. The unique of this temple is Sri Subrahmanya is facing east and Sri Lakshmi Narasimha is facing west, in a single view image, once can have Darshan of Lord Narasimha through a mirror placed rear side. It is a Sri Subrahmanya’s temple and very much similar with the Kukke Subrahmanya temple near Mangalore. In this temple, you find him in the “Naga” avathar and all the ‘Sarpa (snake) dosha’ related poojas are performed here. This temple is attracting thousand together visitors, devotees and many people for its uniqueness. Brahmarathotsava also will take place on the day of Pushya shudda shasti narasimha jayanti.
