Wondering if this will be a good option post going to the gym. Sometimes I've just washed my hair the day before and my hair is a little wet at the root from showering/sweating. Would be nice to use it as a touch up to dry and style my hair if I don't want to wash all my hair again. I have wavy hair, so you can see where the hair got wet versus was previously straightened.

Does it damage your hair? I’ve never used hair straighteners but love my Bondi boost brush dryer & now I want something that can straighten my hair at the same time. And if so do you have any recommendations for heat protections?

Hi thanks so much for the review . A couple questions if you don't mind. I have wavy hair like you. Even when I use straighteners as soon as there's any sort of moisture or humidity its wavy and frizzy. Does this hold well ? Also my hairs about as long as yours maybe a bit longer and there's quite a lot of it. How long would the process take roughly do you think ? I like to dry my hair at night. Is it likely to stay quite straight until the morning? I also tend to use my straighteners on 230 to control the curl and frizz I'm worried about the 120 and 180 heats 😅

You’re welcome, thanks for watching 🥰 Answers below: 1. The smooth straight style holds well as you’re keeping a lot of moisture in the hair and not drying it out too much (hair seeks moisture from the atmosphere when it’s been overly dried - that’s when it goes frizzy) so with this it stays healthy & moisturised 2. It takes me about 20-25 minutes I’d say and I find it nice to do in the evening as it’s quieter/more chilled 3. It holds well overnight without kinking (I guess this depends how you sleep though!) but that’s when the 185 is good to just top up and go over any bits in the morning if needed 4. 230C is farrrrr too hot for regular heat styling, this will cause damage over time. As I mentioned above you are excessively over drying/styling with that temperature and the hair is crying out for moisture and hydration! 185C is the optimum temp for heat styling dry hair to keep it healthy but also to keep a style which lasts Hope these answers help! 😊😊

Hmmm yeah I have experienced this before, I think apply some more product to give it ‘hold’ and this should stop the fly-aways/static hairs, something like a mousse or blow dry spray x
