The smooth straight style holds well as you’re keeping a lot of moisture in the hair and not drying it out too much (hair seeks moisture from the atmosphere when it’s been overly dried - that’s when it goes frizzy) so with this it stays healthy & moisturised 2. It takes me about 20-25 minutes I’d say and I find it nice to do in the evening as it’s quieter/more chilled 3. It holds well overnight without kinking (I guess this depends how you sleep though!) but that’s when the 185 is good to just top up and go over any bits in the morning if needed 4. 230C is farrrrr too hot for regular heat styling, this will cause damage over time. As I mentioned above you are excessively over drying/styling with that temperature and the hair is crying out for moisture and hydration! 185C is the optimum temp for heat styling dry hair to keep it healthy but also to keep a style which lasts Hope these answers help! 😊😊

Hmmm yeah I have experienced this before, I think apply some more product to give it ‘hold’ and this should stop the fly-aways/static hairs, something like a mousse or blow dry spray x
