A quick personal side-project in-between: a few years ago STUDIO GHIBLI shared some film stills / photograms from their anime movies for non-commercial use. So here is a POP-UP variation on one, from Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi (Spirited Away, 2001), in which a restaurant's spirits invite passers-by in (the lanterns read "oide" = "come!"). As usual, when I start I know where I want to get to; there was lots of redrawing involved (yet *again*); I need to rework the mechanism so that it slides more smoothly (this is v2, btw); but on the whole it's OK. Enjoy, and careful not to let yourself be "spirited away"!

Un projet perso rapide entre deux : il y a quelques années, le STUDIO GHIBLI partageait des photogrammes de ses films d'animation pour usage non-commercial. Donc voici une variation POP-UP d'un de ceux-ci, tiré de Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi (Le Voyage de Chihiro, 2001), dans lequel les esprits d'un restaurant invitent les passants à entrer (sur les lanternes est écrit "oide" = "viens !"). Comme d'habitude, quand j'ai commencé je savais à quoi je voulais aboutir ; il y a eu un gros boulot de re-dessin (encore une fois) ; je dois retravailler le mécanisme pour que ça glisse mieux (c'est la v2, par ailleurs) ; mais en gros ça va. J'espère que ça vous plaira, et prenez garde à quel "voyage" que vous ferez !
