ok so problem solved. not as gracefully as i hoped but what worked was drilling away the bit of platic thread in the ramp itself. it then screwed into the thread in the body just fine

Sorry for the slow response! GHK recently has had a tendency to miscut their receivers--a stuck Maple Leaf, TNT, or Bow Master hop dial can be indicative of this. I'd recommend going with a TDC setup--I've had a couple AKs that have very firm hop dials that I've used a TDC on, and it's always gone super well. Comradequiche airsoft makes them, and they should work swell with a TNT!

Not a bad call. Lots of folks use old, poor quality allen keys, which never helps things either!

Sorry for the slow response here! You'll need to install the inner barrel first, then assemble the hop chamber.

No need generally. I started the video thinking I'd do a full tear down, then just stuck to working on the hop up, haha. If you think you'll need to adjust the outer barrel, it's worth pulling at that point.

@@ciskeitwo3256 Unfortunately it didn't go so well for me. I bought a maple leaf unit and a crazy jet but couldn't install it, it won't line up. My best guess is that my trunnion is drilled crooked, it's a tiny bit up and to the left. The crazy jet is about a centimeter longer than the oem barrel so it doesn't go in, only if I unscrew the outer barrel about 7 millimeters. Anyway I think I figured out why the OEM hop didn't work, so until it breaks I'm putting the maple leaf on ice. Thanks for the video.

If I recall, the T.N.T. hops require a M14 cut barrel. They can take AEG barrels, but they'll need additional retaining notches cut. :/

Unfortunately, not without cutting new notches for the set screws. If you're able to do that, I guess you could though!
