GHK, the Lexus of the Airsoft GBBR world. They’re luxurious, yet, affordable to most experienced players. Every couple years, they release something spectacular, apart from their PDW, the black sheep of the family. Their latest project should be as reliable as their Gen 2 AKs, the same length as their 14.5 inch M4 except with a much longer inner barrel, as thrilling as their G5 and should kick as hard as their love child with Hephaestus, Project T21. So how will the Airsoft Gas Blow Back version fair? Is it as good as I hope it is, or will it forever stay in the Shadow of the Tokyo Marui AEG version? Find out here!

I have the TM AUG A3 XS right now. Got it on sale on Evike for $238. I would definitely not buy it for it's full price, though.

I asked for this gun and so did so many others and I have to say I am very impressed. It sounds good even though you can hear some cool down on full auto but like Tim said, it's a sample. I hope they really expand on this but even if they keep it to the 3 variants with no add ons like larger magazines or HBAR conversation I will still buy the A1 no questions asked. Give me a price and I'll save my coins for it. Only wish I have, please release an A1 with the famous OD Green stock.

I don't remember who, but there is somebody who makes a FAL kit for M4s, it isn't like the g3 style though. it has an m4 style quad rail but it to me looks cooler than an m4

The double stage trigger for semi and full auto seems even more effective for a gbbr, seeing as there are many times when the cool down eventually gets so bad in full auto that you have to switch to semi. Which can get annoying when you have to constantly find the selector switch.

my favorite and first pick for a bullpup will always be the hts-14 groza by heaphestus. I used to have one and, despite it looking like a particularily ugly potato, it's a beast, especially with a 40 round magazine. It's a shame it's been discontinued, I would happily buy another one any day.

Can't wait! The AUG is a really cool gun and it's great to see more gas blowback bullpups coming to the market. I can only hope some company delivers a gbb F2000 and Famas now. Gonna have to think long and hard about this one, don't know if I should get one of these or a RA-Tech G36K....

On the real steel one if you flip the grip forward its so you can quick change barrels from a short to long barrel and make it a LMG. Not for storage

+Jordan Kay It its actually for storage. You will never ever switch the barrel on a RS AUG. You migh take it out for cleaning and safety checks though.

There are 3 kinds of AUGs, the A1, Comes with the scope and stuck there permanently, A2 has a rail that replace the scope, A3 also hav a rail but it’s like an M4’s rail.

The STG-77, better known as the Steyr AUG. Have a look at the Forgotten Weapons video on the STG-77, it's a genuinely interesting, crazy advanced weapon system yet was introduced into service 41 years ago.

+Jesse Blackley Marui never did a A2 version, as did no other airsoft company. The one you refer to is the american import "Special Receiver" version, the "SR".

Yeah I doubt GHK will stray from their AEG barrels, there are conversion kits to go to VSR style too. Past experience has shown most GHKs do fairly well with their stock rubber too once broken in but fine adjustments on them are easier and r hops are easily doable

+Slaughter619 I used the AUG A1 from its introduction into the Australian military in the 80s. I can guarantee you that the wet noodle sounding trigger is authentic. And the Aussie version of the A1 had the single shot lockout button on the bottom of the trigger. Pull it out and it mechanically stopped the trigger going back into full auto. Simple and elegant solution. I have an AUG2 AEG and I'm busting to get the GBBR version in OD.

The big issue I see is that even they finally do the first propper A2 and A3 upper receivers in AirSoft history. They apparently only do A1 style lower receivers... A true A3 lower and perhaps a Nato lower would be so obvious to make.

Hardly used it? The bullpup is my favorite! Used it round after round in Counter strike! The only 2 airsoft rifles I own (thus far) are bull pups! The two stage trigger is a decent feature but often times I find myself in the excitement of the moment going full auto, even when it is not allowed on the field I'm playing at. Also having larger hands I find that the safety button occasionally gets pushed in. In my own opinion go with the A3, I love the rail space.

Sounds like it dispenses gas like crazy. Doesn't looked like he used the entire magazines on full auto in fear to reveal its Gas capacity. Either that or they simply didn't put enough of it or it got cold very quickly. Either way if you are trying to sell a product you might want to do your best to show off its abilities.

+victorlund21 of course it would be stressful on the gearbox since it is "made" to the stresses a AEG RIFLE should take but they could make a light machine gun meant gearbox and a rifle or one of them

dont push the coking handle forward, you only need to tap it to make it fly forward. in reality if you do that it can make a jam becasue its moving to slow so 2 bullets can get jammed in.

maybe a Toyota but they don't share alot with them. apart from the CT and the ES they're fairly different. you won't find a Toyota sporting a RWD 5.0L V8 sedan.

guess what, if I shake an aeg with the dust cover held down, you'll hear no wobble. A gun shouldnt wobble unless the gearbox is loose, which should be highly unlikely. Also, M4s stock wobble is because without the wobble, adjusting the position would be hard

Sorry if this is a stupid question but in the video, I didn't see a gas fill valve anywhere on the magazine, and now that the product is on Redwolf, I don't see it in any of the pictures there either. Does it have an FNX-esque injection valve right below the gas release valve, or is it hidden amongst the waffles and baseplate?

What about the front handle? Is it sturdier? Everyone one I saw using an AEG AUG (including myself) broke the handle simply by holding it in a couple of games because the pin is made out of a really cheap metal that breaks instead of bend.

+lagstyre I'd say that probably because of the limited production. they only made it for a couple of years before they did the G5.
