Whilst filming for otters in a Scottish river the photographer noticed something very strange when playing the video back. In this 3 minute clip you can see there is something unusual happening in the trees.
Absolutely. I’ve been traumatized since the first jump scare video I saw. (It was a ghost girl in white who came flying out of a dark doorway. Scared the heck out of me!)
I had a house on a property that was very similar to this. One of my dogs passed away and I scattered his ashes along the creek on a boulder that he loved to stand on when he was alive. I put the property up for sale a year later and the real estate agent took some photos of the listing. I was amazed because she took several pictures of the the creek but in one of them, you could see a large orange orb exactly where I scattered his ashes. I like to think that he is still there enjoying that beautiful property.
I was once watching a Swiss mountain (the Jungfrau) at sunset, and to my horror and amazement, high on its slopes, a vast bubble of snow began to rise from the horizon and into the sky. Others around me were having the same experience (we were waiting so see some alpenglow), and for a few moments it seemed supernatural. Then we realized it was the rising moon, which on that evening happened to be the same color as the snow on the mountain. It still lives with me vividly, a wonderful experience. Here, there appears to be mist rising from the stream, and moving through the trees a few meters away. That should be taken into account.
?? there is no rising moon there. Ghosts are real as I used to tag along a friend who was a ghost hunter..i heard EVPS saw the cliche shit of batteries getting drained right before my eyes- we even got locked out of the house - took an hour to get the key to finally workafter all five of us tried
Ok I take it back when you zoom in to the tree on groin on left there is all kinds of stuff going on one thing looks like child in green walking the down tree to that group of three trees that he for or light they are spirits too they are everywhere up there
I saw it in between the trees on the left, but in my humble opinion I believe is computer generated or CGI, in other words fake. I could be wrong though 🤷🏻♀️🫣
Watch carefully as the image quality alters and becomes more grainy as the overlays fade in and out. The overlay images are subtle but unmistakable superimposition. Nothing other worldly here. Nice peaceful river shot though.
I was just about to say exactly the same thing... No need to now.. I am a believer of spirit's and have seen and felt them myself... However this is clearly a hoax.. Shame really, would have been an epic sighting otherwise.
Yeah the second I saw the ghost and how it all faded in I could tell right away that it was a hoax. Am I disappointed? No not really, Surprised, not at all.
Abandoned Yesterdays What in my mind when watching this: "please no jump scare, please no jump scare, please no jump scare, please no jump scare, please no jump scare..."
I saw a ghost by the road. More expressive than yours in the video. But yes I confirm there is at least one ghost in your video. But I see 2 or even 3 ghosts there that join each other to look at you. You got their attention. Great video 👌🏻 👍
I saw one back in the 1970's while night fishing , it was known as the Burning lady she moved through the trees surrounded by an orange/red glow which really did look like flames, 20 years later i mentioned it in conversation with my brother who admitted he had also seen it around the same time but was so scared by it,he had never mentioned it to anyone, that is one of a few experiences ive had
@@the_highnmighty_native8685 it would be a different sort of life, to be an oversized bedazzled trinket hanging from a necklace. Thank you for that exercise in imagination.
@@vaidehiphansalkar2556 - Something transparent seems to be moving around on the middle of the fallen log on the left bank. And near the end of the video, it looks like a man in an old style long coat.
Some fifty years ago now I was walking up the stairs in an 18th century London townhouse when what appeared to be a wedding party of several individuals all happy and smiling came jostling down toward me, through me and dissappeared. I wasn't frightened just very, very cold while they were close to me.
@@trianafoxwood7525 Yes, it was a very real and memorable experience and it happened mid morning on a bright sunny day! There was no fear, it just felt like for a few seconds I was in a time shift and found myself in the middle of something that had happened on those very stairs probably hundred years before. It was lovely.
I can see a subtle, but distinct square zone of different colour where the movement occurs. The alignment of that square matches the alignment of the rest of the video, so it seems to me that it's an overlay.
You start seeing movement on top of the fallen tree that's on the left of the screen. It's very transparent, you really need to focus to see it. I see it start at 2:20. It seems to be walking towards the inside of the forest.
Expand the screen. From beginning to end, there is a milky orb all around the middle of the fallen log. Inside the orb are very pale green, and sometimes white figures moving about. Do a stop start forward and back along the timeline and you'll see it much clearer. I wouldn't even know the figures were human much less ghosts. Diana Gabaldon says she's been on many battlefields, and the only one that had ghosts were in Scotland, at Culloden Fields. About being genuine, I suppose there are too many fake films to know when it could be real. The "mystery" photos of people that seem from out of the future look just plain silly. A woman with a hand to her ear as though it's a cell phone. She could be scratching her ear or adjusting glasses. Same with others.
Not a ghost, most likely one of those forest creatures that live in the edge of our plane, and were well known before. If it is true, is wonderful to know they are still around!
Look at the two rocks on the other side. The smaller one to the left. Look above it to that clump of trees above it on the hill. You will see them in there!!!!
There is something there, besides the beautiful scenery, but it is REALLY hard to find. Look at the 2 large rocks in creek, in the foreground, to the left. The ones whose sides slope down towards each other, but they don't actually touch. Look at the point between them, and move your eyes directly upward in a straight line. About 3/4 the way up, just to the right, you will see trees that look like a triangle or the letter A. (One fallen tree and two others that stand and cross each other at the top.) Focus on the right side of the A. There is another large/wide tree next to it. The activity occurs in front of the wide tree at first, then moves into the area between that wide tree and the right side of the A. You have to watch carefully. You see some kind of movement at first, then the shape of what looks to me like a girl appears. I also think there is a man to the right of her, but he is not as clear. Pretty cool. Could be photo shopped of course, but I can't imagine faking something and then making it SO difficult to see. If people can't see it, what would be the point? I'd like to know if they saw it with their eyes and also happened to catch it on film, or did they see it after looking at the footage...
I actually see three spirits? One is sitting on the fallen tree, and there's two figures behind it. One is wearing robes and looks like it's holding a bow and slowly drawing it as if to shoot an arrow. The way they move is so ethereal and dreamlike, they seem to exude peace and remind me more of fairies or elves than ghosts of dead people.
@A_Sensible_Young_Man You're obviously a soulless city-dweller. I'm Scottish (Highlands) and I'm surrounded by this kind of country. You have my sympathy.
I live in rural Cheshire and have had something very similar to this come through the wall of my pantry float across my living room and into next door. I have seen it twice both times my cats have gone berserk. On the second occasion as it melted into the dividing wall between me and next door their dog went loopy and started barking and snarling too.
It's fungus spawn from one of those round puff mushrooms. I've seen it in southern Australia many times when I was a kid. As kids we'd run around and pop them on purpose letting out all the spawn. If they don't get triggered by animals or humans they burst naturally, which ejects spawn, and some is obviously caught in a spiders web hanging from trees in this instance. Thats all :)
"LOOP" the video like I do listening to trains' rail rack noises clicking which you no longer hear today as rails are virtually continuous with no gaps as such.
So, for those of you who are not seeing what the footage is showing, there are two things going on. First, at the 0:45 mark there is a slight brown haze above the horizontal downed log on the left above the babbling stream which disappears and reappears and changes shape throughout the video, but the "dramatic" imagery occurs in that same spot which starts at 2:37 when a brownish vertical "ghost" appears and fades slowly as the video ends. However, if you look even closer, there appears to be two ghosts almost like a couple. one to the right of the brownish ghost which is the same height, also vertical, more gray and darker in nature, maybe William Wallace and his eloping bride---Lol. The footage is easily faked, and that is the problem with all these RU-vid "ghost" videos.

During a wicked thunderstorm one year we lost power. I was laying in bed & grabbed the flashlight out of the nightstand & shined it in the hallway. There was a woman standing there & then she just disappeared. I’ll never forget it.
Its a squirrel climbing around the tree, in some frames you can see its shape and fluffy tail, especially at the beginning of the movements. The camera is too far away to record the full image, so all you see is a few movements.
I watched 3 or 4 times before I zoomed in and saw the movement to the left of the large trees in the mid-left section. Was very gentle and just how I'd expect a peaceful ghost to appear. Nice capture.
@@dixienormis3614 it's not the fog people are talking about lol. It's clear humanoid shapes moving on the fallen tree on the left. Might be vfx or paranormal but it's absolutely not a natural sight.
I lived in a bed sit in Dublin back in the 70’s. The house as 200 years old. There was an old woman sharing the room with me. We all saw her, always by the window, sitting or standing. Things would be moved around during the night. She wasn’t scary. I went back last year. The house had been totally renovated and the window was gone. She was gone too.

Because it's a rare word in America and I had to look it up: Bed Sit (Bedsitter in USA) a one-room apartment typically consisting of a combined bedroom and sitting room with cooking facilities. Common in some parts of UK. Bedsits are included in a legal category of dwellings referred to as houses in multiple occupation.
I thought I shared a room with a ghost one night in an old house in Waterford, Ireland. I awoke to find the door inexplicably blocked up with furniture next morn. Found out few yrs later, I intermittently slept walked (all throughout my 20s)... it didn't occur to me first, but its really the only logical explanation to what happened.
It's like staring at clouds. If you do it long enough, you'll see familiar shapes. Still looking for UFO's, ghosts & Bigfoot. Hope I have enough time left to spot one.
Let me tell you a true story. Around 20 years ago, I was watching local afternoon news on TV. There was a report of a ghost caught on CCTV in a COOP store in my hometown. The female shop workers had heard a crash at the back of the store and found a 4-pack of beers on the floor. There was no one there, so they checked the CCTV and what the CCTV had captured was shown on the news. The 4-pack was on a chiller cabinet shelf when a forearm and hand came out of the back of the cabinet and violently pushed the beers off the shelf. I was like WTF!!! So, when they said the clip would be shown again, I sat forward and observed very carefully. There is no question it was a human arm, but it appeared emaciated and almost xray like. It came out of a solid backed cabinet backed against a wall. It appeared angry and the beers flew off the shelf. To my mind, there was no possibility this had been faked. The video was not shown on the evening news and has not been shown since. There are rumours it was seized by 'men in suits'...
@@mikesterepic6355 That's exactly it. It happened at the COOP in Queen's Square, Penzance, UK. The tape has never been seen since. It was shown on a TV news network so, would have been formatted to broadcast. Oddly 'they' claimed the film 'broke' and was possibly faked. The way I see it, Hollywood special effects might be able to do it, but this video was viewed after the incident and it appeared very real.
Where the fallen log is, a branch hangs down to meet it. Where they appear to touch, what looks like a woman appears. Then, at the right side of the tree next to her, another entity fades into view. Then an almost transparent figure moves slowly to the left to meet the first one.
To the left of the river there is a downed tree from about the 2 minute mark you will see what appears to be a ghostly figure walk along that downed tree and just behind that where the two trees are together to the right of that you can see something almost peeking out from behind the side. By 2:28 you should be able to see both the ghostly figure and whatever is behind that tree they are in close proximity to each other.
@@jimmyv1753 Thank you for pointing this out. I saw a little of some sort of misty shadowy movement for a couple of seconds only. That was all. I never would have noticed it if I had been there. Maybe you had to be there for it to really stand out. I have to wonder if there really are such things or if human beings simply have an inbuilt propensity to believe in such things even though they do not exist. If they do exist, you would think that by that point in history it would be a well established, undisputed fact.
@@user-lz6dm5lk9y I think it’s a very real thing. I just don’t think we are even close to understanding what it actually is. I don’t believe it is past people (though it certainly could be). It may be a dimensional thin spot where we get a momentary peek into a parallel dimension. Something like that. But who knows. It’s a mystery that is far too common and goes back to the beginning of time, the more cameras are available in every moment of our lives the more we will catch these little glimpses. I actually caught it by playing the video in 2x speed. It’s quite obvious when sped up. Seems like at the rate technology is increasing our ability to decode some of the oldest mysteries of the world. Maybe in our lifetime we will have answers to some of these questions. Until then I just enjoy the mystery of it.
@@jimmyv1753 I am very skeptical of these things, but I still must admit that some of these things scares the bejesus out of me! I have been in woods before, albeit not as beautiful as this spot with the running water, and I found that it feels scary after a while even if you are with another person. Maybe nature's built-in instinct for survival causes us to feel this way. There is one thing I think is very real, but I cannot explain it: intuition. I have had strong intuitions about things in my lifetime that were proven correct over and over again. Sometimes they are good intuitions, but occasionally they are ominous ones like the ones they tell me to stay away from a particular person or venue. Maybe that is another one of nature's built-in survival mechanisms....I do not know. Not the same thing, but I have also experienced deja vu from time to time. That is also a very odd feeling.
Looks like its coming from 'Witches Broom'. I think the cameraman got the right spot for spotting wood elves, remote Scottish woodland with moss covered rocks and a river. Very scenic and mysterious.

I'm guessing the photographer had a sheet of glass in front of the lens, and we're seeing reflections of people who are a few yards behind the camera. It could have been done digitally too, I suppose, given that the anomaly seems to be moving in slow-motion. Look above the horizontal log above the left bank, by the trees immediately behind it to its centre-left. An example starts about 50 seconds in but it's happening from the beginning of the shot too.

If you zoom in you'll see it's just an optical illusion. I'm not 100% convinced that the film actually shows true footage of 'ghosts". Bit of a sceptic however, I must agree with everyone who thinks that the area is beautiful and the river calming.
Certainly looks authentic to me . It’s where I’d wanna be if I was a ghost. You have to look very close at the one bigger tree on the left . I saw her . Good footage
As this is a video about the Scottish woodland I just wanted to mention Finn Creaney, He posted videos about outdoor lifestyle and had a channel called ‘the wildcat way’. he went missing whilst hiking around Loch Naver in March last year and hasn’t been seen or heard from since. Sorry if this comment is unrelated to the video but wanted to take the opportunity to spread awareness of his disappearance in the hope the he could be found.
That must have been the ghost of a commando with excellent camouflage, because he blended 100% with the environment. Very relaxing video, I’ll play it again when I’m stressed.
This really intrigued me. I saw it first on my phone but then had a look on the big screen of my pc. The images of the spirits or whatever are very subtle. However after spending about 45 minutes watching over and over I finally detected a definite edit between 2.04 and 2.07. This is not in the main picture but in the image that has been superimposed. I don't think that real spirits have jerky type movements. Extremely well done though and very entertaining.🙂
You can, well I can, see what I swear is a person's reflection on the screen as though their reflection was caught on the screen while uploading or editing. Although now that I think about it I'm not exactly sure if or how that could happen. Maybe I'm daft. What I saw in the trees certainly does not at all look real. It looks like it's superimposed from a movie or whatever.
Concentrate on the fallen horizontal tree, the darkest upright tree, & the branch at 60" to the left of it. At first there is movement in the light grey oblong area to the left of the dark tree. Next a green shape moves left along the horizontal tree, to the branch at an angle. Then a white apparition appears for about 30 seconds. Like a girl. (angel??)

I learned from the comments and the video that people can't explain anything. At 2:22, look at where the horizontal tree intersects with the tree that comes down diagonally from the left. Just to the right of that intersection, you can see a light green object move in a slow, floating manner from right to left. There.
I saw it! My son and I were watching it and couldn't see much so we put it on our tv and zoomed in. It's wicked!! Right behind the fallen tree it looks like a woman stands up. On the other side of the tree is someone else. They move around a bit. After you see it you can't unsee it. Gave us the willies!! 👻
Thank you. I was to say click bait I see a woman in white dress stand up, walk a little to the left and turn and stare at the camera and camera gets picked up as she starts to disappear.
Pareidolia is a psychological phenomenon that causes people to see patterns in a random stimulus. This often leads to people assigning human characteristics to objects.
Oh WOW!! I’ve got goosebumps…put this on your tv and truly be AMAZED!😳😳😳There is a lot going on but you can’t see much on a small phone screen. Like someone else said, look along the top of the horizontal fallen tree on the left a bit left of the center of it where a large vine intersects with it. It is easier to see when the camera zooms in. There are at least 5 or six “beings,” maybe more. The only issue is that the she stops filming way too soon.😭Maybe she was afraid or it was not as easy to see from her vantage point. Sometimes we do not see anything at all until we review a photo or video. Perhaps that’s what happened here in part. Absolutely fascinating!💯
If you look at the clump of trees growing from the same base halfway on the left, you will see what appears to be a figure. It is in fact just the shape of the trees and because of the dampness, mist and sunlight, it appears to evolve into a figure. Just before that is a green clump of brush moved by dampness and wind.
I am 100% certain that ghosts are real having seen one as a kid and it has stayed with me my entire life. I recently went back to Donegal, Ireland a couple of months ago, near to where I saw the ghost and I struggled to sleep every night while there. I'm now 45 years old and it still scares me. The weird thing is though, I'm still skeptical about these videos for some reason?
There's good reason to be skeptical, ghost vids= more traffic and the potential to go viral. So there's incentive to stage hoaxes. And there are A LOT of hoax videos out there, as well as innocent camera glitches and mis-identified phenomena.
I've seen and heard things my whole life..Whether this video was real or not..We do share this world with others..The ancients spoke of dimensions..portals..Our eye sight is very poor..There are things out there we don't see..Animals see better than us..Ever have your dog or cat stare at something you don't see? ..We don't know everything about our world..Paranormal? I call it normal...

I turned the sound off and played the video in the slowest mode and still didn't see a ghost or anything moving around in the woods. I don't know if I'd go out in the woods on a day like this lady had done because it's an Erie scene in the woods without sun. I love the sound of the brook, and I love nature.
I had a "vision" of a woman while camping with my husband in Scotland. Next morning he asked if I wanted to stay there another night as it was so lovely. I said no there is something weird. He then showed me he had put a knife under his pillow as he felt weird. But want has really haunted me is that he left us twenty years later for a woman who looks like the one I saw.
There definitely is a concentrated fog that appears momentarily low between two trees and then vanishes…but this could’ve been nothing more than simply this. The fear seems unjustified or unwarranted.
It’s not fearsome, it’s a specter…the manifestation of life energy in a place that has connections to a different spiritual plane…these are not demons but merely visitors.
Absolutely right ...I along with few friends went on adventorous natural trail, normally we always preferred outing late in evening. Two of my friends who saw some strange white form appearing and disappearing and they almost fainted at the sight. So they ran towards the small camp we set up for the night...I along with another camper were enjoying cup of tea and smoking. As these guys who ran out of their skin approached and in huffy puffy way they ranted out whatever they saw. I insisted to my friend that we better go and check out. We'll as reported it was ofcourse a scary sight if you damn allow you illogical senses ro win over your mind. I felt that maybe between the trees as different trees emit gas and since it was cold ..I presumed that it might be mist forming as it was cold and emission of trees might be creating such misty form. And we walked to the point but we could not see any mist but the place was more cold and from far our other friends can see us standing while mist was assuming different forms and we were there as if it was engulfing us. So yeah maybe supernatural spirits may exist well my point is many times it is nature which creates strange events and humans just spook with all mystic stories.
Oh rubbish, put your glasses back on mate. Or are you looking on a "smartphone" screen? There is clearly at least two figures there, and I can see three - perhaps even in front of a doorway of a cottage or cabin. It looks like two adults with a child dancing or playing in front of them - they are wearing early period clothing. Adult on the left looks female and child is either dancing or hopping, perhaps with arms out. Maybe you need to get a new monitor for your computer, mine is 27 inch, nothing flash, just a basic ACER brand.
The way to be able to see what is best described as paranormal activity is hold the phone away at arms length and focus on the the left area of the phone screen and you will see a rather odd motion of what can only be described as a Ghost 👻!
That's just uncanny how well the ghost synchronizes it's movements so perfectly with those of the digital aberrations occurring all around that area of the screen! It's almost like it knew what sort of electrical noise was going on in the camera caused by it's low-light, low-resolution settings and tried to hide within them!
Thanks for the short trip to Scottland, have always wanted to visit. I think the ghosts enjoy the beautiful landscape as much as I did, along with the music of the river!
@@joymattson8549 I usually wouldn't respond to a comment like you made Joy. But, my question is why you even felt this had to be pointed out in the first place? Maybe it was the need you felt to laud your own self superiority over another. Either way, I hold no attachment to your feelings and I wish you well.
I had 2 “ghost” experiences as a young kid, I know what I saw on the first one, a figure in a white shroud or gown sat on a horizontal old slab gravestone in the graveyard of a 13th century church in England & the other was feeling our dead family cat on my bed, I felt Tashas paws walking on me & her weight laying on my body, I was scared rigid & didn’t dare look. But I know what I felt. I never mentioned the cat ghost to anyone for years until I told my mother years later when she admitted to the same thing. I know what I witnessed on these 2 occasions as sure as I am of anything. There’s definitely some sort of spirit or extra dimensional world out there.
Well, I reckon it's definitely possible that this was an actual ghost; I'd seen one passing through my room a couple of years ago, entering through the wall and exiting through the one opposite, and since then I have absolutely no doubt anymore that ghosts do exist 😊
It's crazy, like it's watching you and trying not to be caught. I agree that this looks more fairy like than ghostly. It's mimicking its surrounding like a chameleon. Why can't people see it? It's not hard to spot because it moves, changes shapes and colors.
The asterisk structure to the right is a classic Sasquatch construction. Very beautiful. There are so many forest people in this shot. The movement of the four at the centre distracts from the many stationary ones all around.
@g h it appears at 2:17. You see the 2 trees close to each other? and there is the one laying to the ground. The "thingy" appears left beside the 2 trees and standing on the laying tree. I would say, it is a trick, made by the one, who published the video.
You could see one in the left side of the left end, you should start to see a yellow light of a alike realistic man with a jacket coat and you might see his head that is next to the middle log branches in the trees at 1:33, Just far it goes above the plank of wooden log. The ghost was yellow above the middle log, you might start to see a yellow shadow shifting over across the wooden trees. OR if you look at the left side of that middle log, you should see it and then disappears at 2:54
I am a natural medium and have been to Scotland. I must say that there are a lot of entities around in the cities. Also, it is a very esoteric country. And it is the country of witches: women who were wrongly sentenced. I also don't rule out that they are the spirits of the forest. Scotland and Ireland are countries whose "paganism" was always related to nature. Everything is interconnected. Anyway, I can say that meditating in that forest in the company of those kind spirits has to be the most beautiful thing that can happen to you in life.
