Grew up on Cape Cod and dove extensively all over. All of the lobstermen knew our boat and that we would never raid their pots. We were diving, doing some spear fishing, when one of the lower boats pulled up to our boat. We surfaced and the Skipper asked if we could retrieve one of his lines of pots. We went to where he believed the, string,to be and within 5 minutes we retrieved his line and the 12 pot string. From that time on all the boats knew if they lost a string we would find,it for them. One string of 12-15 pots is a lot of money. Needless to say we were never short on lobsters!!!!!

Good lads, a lad who I told not to cut down his weight belt length dropped it getting back in the rib. I called man over board so the skipper (Kev) hit the waypoint button. This was off Brighton pier area. I kitted back up and drifted back .blow me there it was up on the bag to a big roar...

That anchor was immense! Must be historic. Some place would like that in front as a display! You should retrieve it. With inflatable balloons.

Do you know the history of the anchor? Must be off a big ship. Could you retrieve it and sell it? That would make a good video!

As far as I am aware you would have to notify authorities and ask for permission which you probably wouldn’t get!

If they went over the side forwards they could lose their air tanks over their shoulders.
