Hi I'm Wendy a resin artist and crafter.
In this video I am trying out ‪@TheTinyTurner‬ Ethereal flakes which are Ghost Flakes to you and me. Thinking about it, I dont know of any other Ghost flakes on the market. If you do know of any, then let me know.
I use Istoyo resin and create beautiful pieces with just basic shapes and a couple of added extras.

I'm unable to work due to being disabled. I'm 64 & have loved doing arts and crafts since I was 3 years old. I worked for years. But now, I save up and buy everything from Temu, so I can craft and sell what I make - what I sell, just gives me enough to buy on Temu. Their stuff is superb. Have a look and see for yourself. If buying clothes, their sizes are accurate to your size. I have an income of £7,000 a year, so Temu is perfect. I did use birthday money to splurge out, on a Let's Resin flower mold, which set me back £19, but it was worth it, and will last for years. I wish I could do RU-vid videos on cheap crafting, but I don't have the technology, and live in a tiny flat here in the uk. My craft room is my living room!! It's tiny. These ethereal flakes are a bundle of joy.Endlees colors in this small pots and your imagination together work amazingly, Ms Wendy 😍😍😍.Loved how you incorporated these glakes to that holographic mold where it was many colors plus many colors,then you added holographic stickers 😍😍,that was even more colors,the charms turned out full of life and gorgeous colors,Ms Wendy 💜🫶🫶

Beautiful as always! Just a little tip,I’ve noticed that the name of the powder or flakes in the ethereal range usually gives an idea of the color you can expect. For example,Wisp is in blue and that’s the main color,Sprite is orange etc.Just how I’ve been keeping track of the colors 💖

GLORIOUS colors, Wendy! 😍 Those stickers were pretty, too. 😊👍💕 Suggestion (maybe with something slightly deeper?): whether using a holographic, matte, or shiny smooth mold, try a layer of clear first, then rubbing on those glorious flakes (alcohol/flake paste?), then back in black... Wonder what that effect would look like?

Wisp is pretty, I do wish the container was larger. I used them very fast for the $, and I hope she eventually sells that trial one I got!!!

Susan we have plans to go bigger sizes, but the cost to create these pigments is high and personally I worry the cost will be too high. Theoretically it should be cheaper to buy a larger amount though ❤️❤️❤️

They are very pretty. On Temu, look up "1 Box of Vibrant Aurora Crystal Opal Nail Powder - Holographic, Iridescent, and Mermaid Effect Glitter with Chameleon Flakes for Long-Lasting, Unscented Manicure"...they look like the same thing.

I’ve looked at them. They are glittery pieces of plastic. They don’t spread because they are plastic pieces. But act like glitter in your pieces. I actually have them 🤣🤣 But I really appreciate you taking the time to tell me about them 😀😀😀 Thank you so much 🥰🥰

I have a clear teardrop mold like your blue that you're using. I kind of wish the earrings were next to each other so you didn't have to turn it to make sure they are the same and opposite . If that makes sense 🥰

I totally want all those colors but the shipping is more than the cost of the colors!!! Ugggggg so I will be saving for a bit…and right now after the hurricane i still have no power and i am having to charge my phone where i can plug in long enough….i sit in the car for a bit and get it charged and get a little air conditioning…lol…anyway i will be saving…

I have metal dotting tools with silicone on the end I always use the metal part. Are there less bubbles if I use the silicone part ? Of the tool? The silicone part are huge compared to my tiny dotting tool

Use what you feel is better 😀😀 I would say tiny is better as it will create less resin waves and mess. A rounded edge is less likely to scratch a mould too. But silicone is easier to clean. It’s just personal preference 😀😀❤️❤️
