This song is very beautiful and takes me to a wonderful place. But the best part of it to me is how the melody of the guitar bookends the album with "Respite on the Spitalfields". In "Imperium"', the melody heralds the coming of _Impera_ and in "Respite", it feels like _Impera's_ final swan song, fading into the night. The feeling of loss. I get chills every time.

This is so touching for some reason. Whenever I listen to this I get the feeling of longing about something, although I can never tell what exactly is it. Such a great intro

This song feels like an evening breeze blowing autumn leaves across old fortress ruins as the sun sets on the world. It is so haunting. Yet so indescribably beautiful. Similar to the scenes depicted in Lord of the Rings when Arwen envisioned her future after Aragorn's death.

I heard this sound out in the dark at my first ever concert, the Houston ritual. I doubt I will ever hear this song normally. It brings a tear to my eye every time the harmonies strike, it brings me back.

The fact that this melody is the intro and outro of the album gives it an epic and nostalgic feel

The beginning of a new era

It is musically the best album intro for any rock band, since Iron Maiden's - Somewhere in Time intro. Which in fact, both artwork and style is quite similar here.. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT!

Every time I listen to this, I' am instantly transported back to seeing them live last month! It's so moving. The entire album is a MASTERPIECE.
