That is EXACTLY what I told my wife, the stage presence, including the audience, and to know they started so long ago! I bought all their albums on my music app and am just going through discovery after discovery.
This was my first Ghost show and I liked them rather casually, but seeing them live changed my outlook completely. I get goosebumps revisiting this performance - thanks for the upload.
@@ethanjames5165 imagine mine, first time watching ghost, 2020, march 3, mexico city, the start of the pandemic, the final concert on the tour, death of nihil, he becomes papa iv XD
I just want to personally say and thank you and I appreciate you recording shows like you do. Please keep doing it. I work two jobs and still don’t have enough money to pay bills go to concerts at the same time like I’d like to. Music is my life and saved me from going off the deep end numerous times. Music keeps my heart and soul in a good place. So watching live concerts on your channel helps take the edge off and gets me familiar with how different bands are live. The great quality is an additional perk. Please keep doing what you’re doing 🤘🏼.
Ghost deserve the fame they have right now, they even deserve more than that. Tobias did great, establishing the band and coming up with such a unique concept. Even the ghouls and ghouless are great, I love them all so much, they are the only band who got me hooked to metal musics. I wish I can see them live but idk if that'll ever be possible, I'm from 🇵🇭
Absolutely wonderful band. My latest obsession. As a 63-year-old, I thought music like this was a thing of the past. I will catch them on tour the soonest chance I get.
I was at this show and my daughter made me promise to take her to see them next time they played a Southern California show, so I will also be at the Los Angeles show this year with my 6 year old daughter. The show Ghost puts on is worth every penny you pay to see it. You will not regret it.
I was there with my 12-year-old. Flew in from Sacramento. One of the best shows I have ever seen. They were just killing it. Thank you for posting it!!
I absolutely love this band and you’re so right about Tobias and his voice and how it’s progressed over time…when I saw the older concerts on RU-vid I was actually thinking it had to be somebody else singing
@@LiveRockMusic Got the album Metal Rendez-Vous in the early eighties (i was born in 63) So i had the fortune to be a youngster/teenager when HardRock was evolving to Metal..and to the Humungus spreading all over the world of what it have Become today..🦾🤘🙏 Remember meeting my first serious girlfriend among that time.. Remember she loved Tokyo Nights..So why not..
One album that stuck in my mind is "Live at Leeds" with The Who from1970..Thats what i call Metal from the past that nobody really think about or "Strung Up" with The Sweet..Heavy Sh.t from yesterdays glory time..🤘☮
I just recently discover Ghost and I’m so glad I did. I’m transitioning out of a lifetime of listening to only top 40. The world needs more bands like this.
Only listening to "top 40" or commercial music is what i decribe as being able to see but living your life with a blindfold on. Having your mind opening for new and varried styles of music can bring you so much joy. Music is the nectar of life.
I like the way they do the shows. Papa leaves when its time for the Ghouls to lead its a cool dynamic most bands don't do. Normally the lead singer will just head bang or something til its time to sing its refreshing to see honestly
You're right, the music production is just insane, and Tobias' voice is always perfectly on point. I saw them in May in Italy for the first time, and I can't wait to see them again! Also great T-shirts, by the way 😂🤘
Thank you for posting this! It was my first ritual and I didn't have a great vantage point from my spot in the pit. It's so awesome to relive the show with a full view.
Bro, the quality of this upload is amazing! Both the sound and the video are on point. I love being able to watch how different musicians command an audience. One that sticks out in my mind is Neil Fallon from Clutch. That man commands a stage like an old time revival preacher.
Wow, I saw volbeat in February.I wasn’t planning on staying for ghost but I said let me hear a song or two.Well, I ended up staying for the whole show and I’ve been listening to them everyday since.I heard of them before but hearing/seeing them live was amazing and a game changer.🤘🤘🤘🤘
Saw them in Sweden this spring, and my absolute favorite moment is when they resurrect Papa Nihil during Miasma, and he plays his saxophone solo. Makes me laugh, scream and cry at the same time!😂
Great show! My third time seeing them and they are hands down one of the best performances you can catch live. This set list was incredible, wish I had the chance to see them on another leg of this tour. Thanks for the video! It’s nice to have a way to go back to a great memory.
What the hell did this guy use to record this show? This has got to be one of the if not the finest audio and video I've seen taken from a fan in the audience! Watch this on my home on a 10 ft projector screen. . incredible sound. Bravo.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful recording. This was my 4th time seeing Ghost, they've come a long way from playing dingey clubs. Somehow Tobias keeps improving his voice and the ghouls kicked ass. Was amazing to hear Watcher in the Sky debut!
I was there! What a fantastical show! Thank you so much for posting this. I'm short and my view was mostly blocked for the duration. So happy to see the unimpeded view! 💙💚💜
My brother introduced me to these guys about a year ago.... he had "Dance Macabre" on a playlist he loaned me. At first, I was "meh", but they have really started to grow on me.
A heartfelt thank you. 1:15:02 and your HQ recording of it was the last thing I needed to finally change from "I should" to "I HAVE to" see them live. Ordered tickets for June yesterday. I also got my 60+ y/o parents to come with me without knowing anything but a small medley I cut together so they have no idea of what's coming😄
I brought my mom to this show, after introducing her to a small amount of the Ghost catalogue. She will be attending the Los Angeles show with me and my daughter this year. 🤣
I’m currently a broke ass college kid so I don’t rlly have the time or money to go see Ghost so thank you so much for letting me experience this concert vicariously through this video
@@LiveRockMusic it really was! There were some parts I didn’t get on video like when they’re playing around. It’s good to relive the show in a different view. Thanks for the video brother 🤘🏻🎸
Ghost is defnitely something to get into. I didn't like it for the first 6 months after my friend introduced me to them, but unlike a lot of artists, the more you listen to them, the more you hear. They're the only one's I've not burned out on listening to
Saw them twice this year, in Pittsburgh and Youngstown. The Pittsburgh show was sort of a “What’s going on in the city tonight?” while my wife and I were on our 25th anniversary getaway. Show was one of the warm-ups before Impera dropped. Amazing. Saw them a few weeks ago in Youngstown. This time it was a Father’a Day present from my kids. I didn’t think it could get any better but I was wrong. Amazing performance. From a thirty-year die hard Metallica fan, Ghost is, to me, the most relevant and meaningful rock band of the last 20 years.
As I'm watching this again for like the tenth time, I have to comment on how adorable it is how many times TF forgets the lyrics when he's touring! And amazingly gets right back on track in a few words every single time. (Examples in this particular ritual are Spillways and Year Zero!)
I was there for this concert and it was amazing! The set list was a perfect mix of old and new and the flames for Year Zero were probably my favorite part. Also when Impera first came out, I knew that Kaisarion would be amazing live and I was not disappointed :)
Great band and great performers. They gave the crowd an awesome performance. I didn't want it to be over. Just watching the video takes me back there. Good job on the video men.
I've been a heavy metal hound for decades. Came across ghost several years ago. Nice to find something new and fresh. Another hard hitting band that gets my adrenaline going. A band that will be on my list. Cheers from Canada on your journey to success!!
Despite only really hearing about Ghost recently, they have quickly become one of my favorites. From the music to the theatrics and the killer show they seem to put on, Im so sad i haven’t listened to them before. Fantastic job of capturing the ritual 🤘🏻
Terrific concert, excellent staging and production, very slick. I read that Tobias is at the sound desk getting everything just right, he is a perfectionist and control freak, but it's pretty obvious, he gets the best out of everyone from the crew and the band. The front of house sound is superb. I'd almost put the sound of the band like power pop and a bit of a 70's throwback, with a hint of their Swedish forerunners Abba, in the harmonies and choruses, the whole night was full of faultless performances ....
Que este unico comentario en español sea para que Ghost venga a sudamerica. Increible banda, increibles artistas! Queremos un concierto de Ghost en sudamerica! 🤟
I saw ghost on their first American tour. First time in sf at a tiny little venue called bottom of the hill.... Man have these guys grown into something major since then
@@LiveRockMusic my friends saw them at Maryland deathfest their first time in America. He bought the album or ep, whatever that first one was and he played it for us when he got back.... Pretty sure I was messed up on mushrooms when he turned Death Knell on full blast..... I never heard anything like that before... Simple, catchy, and captivating...I felt elements of king diamond and Alice in chains.... random I know lol but I've Been hooked ever since Alot of people hate cause they "sold out" but early on their entire objective was to spread this unholy message to the masses..... Mission accomplished if you asked me. 🤷♂️
Totally agree I’m happy to find someone that share exactly the same view as me on that band. I am a guitarist and I tell you that the guitar riff are the coolest to play.
Thanks so much for posting this! I'm so hyped for our ritual on Friday night. While I'm sad that he turned down the fabulous Ghoulette's mics in Mary On A Cross, you can really hear them and Swiss Ghoul harmonizing in He Is. It's so beautiful, I actually teared up! Their voices are amazing.
Dude thanks for this, I was there and wanted to relive how amazing this show was. Such an amazing night! I got my boyfriend and I these tickets as his birthday present and he unfortunately passed away a month ago so this night was really special to me and now I always have it to remember. Thanks again
Damn I'm coming to live with you! Going to all these concerts and having a back yard like that!! My man has some money! 😂 Seriously thanks for the uploads!! Your channel is awesome!
The view is even better! I appreciate the comments, I try my best! I really want to capture the feeling of being there. Listen with headphones you'll get that feeling even more
Thank you so much for posting this!! I didn’t get much video since it was my first ritual and I didn’t want having my phone out constantly to be a distraction to me or others in the pit. I’m so glad I can relive it here 🖤
