OceanEarth Foundation’s GhostNets Australia program has been at the forefront of ghost net mitigation efforts for over two decades. In recent years, ghost net art has become a powerful way of raising awareness about the damage that ghost nets inflict on the marine environment. This video, filmed during a workshop on Erub and Darnley Island in the Torres Strait, provides an insight into the creativity of Indigenous communities in transforming these nets into breathtaking artworks - weaving stories of resilience and conservation.
