People of Tsushima(1274): prepare for the invasion of Mongolian soldiers. People of Tsushima(2020): prepare for the sightseeing of worldwide travelers.
This is based on a real historical event guys. The mongol invasion of the Japanese Island of tsushima. Only time a part of Japan had been successfully invaded before ww2
This game exceeded all expectations. A perfect blend of cinematic violence and beauty. One of, if not the single best looking video game ever produced. Greatness
@@rushpatriot2866 While graphical fidelity is not as high as say Red Dead 2 at the time, this game's art direction trumps any other game that comes to mind
3:39 everything aside, I can already tell this is one of those games that makes you drown in its ost while looking at the sightings.
husseinelk Ubisoft would’ve ruined it with Multiple Special Editions and micro transactions. I’m glad they never made one but I’m very glad this exists.
3:36 this part especially is just amazing. I am not sure how many hours I may stand there just looking at the environments and listening to music. Great job, Sucker Punch, this game looks and sounds awesome!
@JMAD 4546B I played it through, just addicted for abbout two weeks. JUst gorgeous. Ofc a bit hyped in terms of graphics quality in trailers, but even after taking that out it looks better than I would say 95% of games out there. Play it if you can, mate
There’s a lot of really well designed shots, use of space, and colour throughout this but that intro is probably the best bit. Incredible cinematography; the symmetry, the palette. This is going to be an amazing looking game.
Absolutely. The visual direction for this game is so clear, so crisp - they musta got a whole team of artists and historians sourcing every piece of Japanese culture they can for references.
I feel like it’s always been in their plans, but they just didn’t want to ‘blow their load too soon’ w that setting if you know what I mean. Games like this, Sekiro, etc... give them a blueprint & opportunity to take inspiration from & attempt to build on/make better
Besides the Armor or characters, it’s a decent ways actually accurate. Not entirely of course. From a small rebellion that did take place during the invasion, to the invasion themselves. I’ll give it a 69% inaccuracy. It has the skeleton of reality with a innards of fiction or exaggerated fiction. The intro battle was very accurate though until they got on foot to fight the main villain.
2:34 That's how to spread terror and make yourself a legend: Always let one escape alive, so he can vividly tell about the horror he has seen
Man, this is my game of the year for 2020. Most of everything about this game is done flawlessly down to its story, gameplay, world, and multiplayer. Thanks for making this game Sucker Punch
Dude Soup lol I don’t think that was his point 😅 obviously it’ll look better on pc everything does. But he’s just saying you have to play a Japanese game on a Japanese system or your doing it wrong.
A storm MADE flesh, not of. Meaning that his body of flesh is the power and rage of the storm made manifest through him. He brings the storm. He is the Stormbringer. Kthnxbye.
@@XuanDaoji maybe the meaning of it talks about the storm that destroys the retreating Mongolian and Korean fleet that the Japanese called "Kamikazee" ( Divine wind ) during the second invasion.
Who Knows they’re both PS exclusives, godfall is only for ps5 while Ghost will be released for PS4 and 5, he’s just saying this is very impressive for a current gen game
@@Joesmho23 Exactly. The problem with Godfall is that for a game trailer that is supposed to showcase the power of the next gen console, it's kinda meh. I mean look at Hellblade 2 trailer, that is amazing.
This has been the only game who’s trailers have each given me chills while watching. I imagine the game will have amazing cinematic scenes. Can’t wait!
Totto Land yeah I wasn't blown away by Sekiro either, the counter fighting style was irritating and every attack you made was almost always your blade clanging against theirs unless you waited for them to attack then counter/parry. I much prefer Dark Souls/Bloodborne or even AC combat styles.
Lord Jagi maybe because that game has twice the difficulty and somehow much more different controls than both those games? Aside from both of those gams also having different fighting styles as well?
That's awsome it looks like Ghost is gonna join the greats Geralt, Aloy, Kratos, Lara, Nathan, not just him but the world of tsusihma will be loved like each of the other characters worlds.
This game is breathtaking. Every bit of footage I see of it has me on the edge of my seat. It is going to be the Japanese RDR2. Theatrical, serious voice actors, great scenery. Cannot wait to enjoy this world.
What do you have ? A switch? Because a console can support Red Dead 2 graphics, and, if it can support those, it can easily support this game's graphics.
Welp I don't have a console. And I am not buying a console just for this game. :3 So no. Every sekiro lover won't be buying this game. I want to though. If it comes to PC I will buy it.
There are plenty of people buying consoles solely for exclusives, and in my honest opinion ,Playstation has the best singleplayer exclusives in the market.
@@obi-wankenobi5411 there's like dozens of critically-aclaimed titles that you can only play on PS4. Hell, you'll probably won't even boot up your PC anymore one you buy a Playstation. Pretty much all the games you play on PC are also available on console. Personally, I only use it nowadays for the few steam-exclusive indie games.
@@jakeaffleck3307 acts like a child 24/7? So you personally know afrosenju? From a normal point of view I can tell it's just a character he plays so that his videos don't feel as serious as final exams. They are in the category of entertainment after all
@@landovendetta8516 I think he meant like Actual gameplay with HUD, showing more of the world and a mission playing out, basically what we'll get in the final product and nothing too cinematic.
@@baconpicker123 this is imo the selling point of the game for me, and they focused on that alot ( with the fight in the e3 trailer with all the red leaves moving ), so it makes no sense why suckerpunch would even consider removing this feature.
justin why?. Because a lot of companies downgrade their games to help it run on consoles at a steady frame rate. Even Spiderman ps4 had graphics downgrades from its trailers to release. Doesn’t make the game bad but the game developers are being misleading and giving the game extra makeup during trailers basically.
@@baconpicker123 tbh i think this isnt even gonna be on ps4. The graphics are so vastly better than any other game ive seen that i think they're probably gonna make this a ps5 launch title especially since they dont have a set-in-stone release date. So why not just push it back until later? ya feel me?
Exactly. Especially the scene with the shown aftermath of the samurais' battle. Stuff like swords and bodies stuck out of the ground. It reminds me of one of the opening videos for Tenchu on PS1
This game should be called Ghost of Akira Kurosawa. This game feels like one of his films adapted incredible to a video game, very exctied to play this.
The two people saying “No” in this thread... lol. The Devs said they took heavy inspiration from samurai cinema, for the most part, including Akiro Kurosawa. That coupled with the fact that we now know there’s a Kurosawa cinema mode in the game... makes these two “No” comments look kinda silly. Lol
Nicholas Berry Thing is, he’s more likely a Ronin. He lives by his own rules now. Plus, he spared him only to send a message. It’s a fear tactic, and being a “ghost” he needs to use those tactics to keep an advantage.
@@nicholasberry8456 Well he isn't a samurai to begin with. He's very much a Ronin. He breaks all codes to get an advantage on everyone he deems an enemy.
Sushant Singh is really the endgame, what i fear is that there will be nothing to play on next gen. All big studios were releasing games last year, this and 2020 and a game took like at least 4 years to be done. So i dont expect anything from kojima productions, naughty dog, cd project, sucker punch and so on till 2023 or 2024
Ubisoft should’ve done it when they had the chance. This looks freaking amazing, it has the whole package. Swordplay, stealth, story and it doesn’t come with the Assassin’s Creed baggage.
uhm...you've just described Sekiro...a "proper action game set in japan". Sure, that was purely fictional while this might be based on some actual facts, but: 2 action games, properly made, and set in Japan
@@JohnDoe-dj3lw I think he is referring to more of an action adventure game not the souls style of sekiro. Not hating on Sekiro i loved it im just pretty sure i get what this guy is talking about.
