- **Types**: There are three flavors of neutrinos - electron neutrinos (νe), muon neutrinos (νμ), and tau neutrinos (ντ), each associated with their corresponding charged lepton.
- **Oscillation**: Neutrinos can change from one flavor to another as they travel through space, a phenomenon known as neutrino oscillation².
Due to their weak interaction with matter, neutrinos can pass through most materials undetected, making them a challenge to study and requiring sophisticated detection methods. Despite these challenges, neutrinos are key to understanding fundamental processes in physics and the universe's structure.
