We stayed at the Corp Campground by the lake for 10 days before moving on. We do plan a return visit one day as this is a very different and special place you can almost feel what it would have been like living in this area a couple of hundred years ago

Pretty cool looking place!! I work for a pumpkin farmer from NC that goes out to Farmington NM northwest of there and grows pumpkins! Said it's the best atmosphere out there for them. ~Dawn

There IS a ghost story that gave Ghost Ranch its current title. Apparently, it’s a real wild west story involving cattle rustlers and murder. Before it became Ghost Ranch, it had the nickname “ Ranchos de las Brujas”, which translates to “ Ranch of the Witches”. In English. The name evolved into Ghost Ranch. I spent a few days in Ghost Ranch- and I climbed that mesa! It was more difficult going down than getting up there, hahaha. 14 years after my visit, I still feel the pull to go back there. It is a place full of spiritual food. It is overwhelmingly beautiful. Even the best photography fails to capture the colors and the beautiful light that is there. Please don’t go there expecting a jet tub and a phone by the toilet. It’s a very different experience than The Grand Floridian Resort at Disney or something. However, I would trade 10 trips to any 5 star resort to stay at Ghost Ranch again. The reason it has bunkhouses is because Ghost Ranch houses summer camps for children and other groups at times. Please go if you love history and nature and good food after a long hike. It’s on my “ Go Back, Jack, do it Again” Bucket List. ❤️

Great video. Just spent the weekend camping there. Very blessed place. The simple way to pronounce Abiquiu is “A-ba-cue or “Ab-a-cue.” Not 100% correct, but closer than A-b-key.
LOL very true it has been pointed out the name was not pronounced correctly but this and all of my videos will be gone soon.....sad to leave but my country is more important than the left-wing socialist-communist who is using my hard work to benefit their agenda
