If Ubisoft had released GRB on launch day 1 in the format it is now, it would have been game of the year. They basically remade the entire game, and in its final form it is incredible.

I played the game for a couple of hours when it first released then decided to leave it until it was better developed, came across your videos about a month ago, decided to re-download and I have to say Breakpoint is so immersive! Altered my settings to as realistic as possible for the full experience. At first I found the game very challenging and still do but now I’m getting used to playing tactical and slow which has increased the experience 10x over… No other game plays like GRBP right now not even Wildlands it may not be everyone’s cup of tea but for someone like me who looks for a well rounded experience with real challenges, threat and thrills if I played one game for the next couple years with continued support it would definitely be breakpoint. With the exception of disabling gear score which you couldn't do, this is how I played from the start via the settings in the game, and it was so good, I didn't understand why people said it was too arcadey until I turned the settings back on to see it and saw loads of markers through walls etc. You have to use your senses to know what's going on, listen to the cues for enemy alert status and voice lines so you know which enemies are near etc. I thoroughly enjoyed it

It’s because people are afraid with having no hud to have their back. Realism all the way on the hardest difficulty

I personally still find the ai in breakpoint a bit to easy, even with no hud, immersive and extreme mode on. It would be nice if they added a higher difficulty level, making the ai have closer to human reaction times

Realism Mode in a lot of shooters is just so cool. No cluttered HUD elements and gamey elements to distract you, ultimate immersion, ultimate engagement, ultimate fun.

Your video really want me to go back at play Ghost Recon: Breakpoint since the new update with Operation: Motherland just came out too. This looks like such a different experience compared to what I played when it first came out. It feels so immersive and genuinely tough. I think this way of playing the game has truly changed the entire experience from simply being a timekiller to a truly rigid and well-structured experience that could take a few weeks or even months to truly master and complete which I enjoy since I blaze through games way too quick.

I remeber trying immersive mode while clearing a base I think sometime last year or this year and I actually enjoyed it a bit better than without the HUD now I just need to pratice actually infiltrating a base without getting spotted.

Excellent vid , your Comms are so nice with your friend. I have no gamer friends so have always played this game solo but the first thing I always do with every Ubi game is to dive into the menu and disable every hand holding HUD element possible. No magic x-ray vision, tagging, alerts, alert clouds, radar etc. Doing this makes Breakpoint (and Wildlands) so much more fun.

It's nice to see 2 operators working together to complete an objective. I usually play with full immersion with the AI teammates, although they get me killed more than my own recklessness.

Yea it's pretty cool Doing cqb in 3rd person is always gonna suck... but when it comes to open country that's where breakpoint shines. Nice gameplay

I genuinely enjoy Breakpoint in Immersive mode with AI teammates, no gearscore and extreme difficulty. It took a bloody long time for them to fix the game back to this point though. They still fucked up by allowing Golem Island to be single player but not letting you take AI teammates or disable gearscore though. I want an expansion for the single player goddamnit

I played the entirety of Ghost recon wildlands like this withmy friend and it was one of the best coop experience ever. Breakdown ruined it with loot but the core gameplay is still there. Ubisoft should enanche what they achieved with wildlands and improved that formula.

This mode is really good I would like them to expand on it with smarter AI and a hit reg system similar to Flashpoint Red River where if you get shot you limp, lose blood and have to band aid then heal just so it makes teamwork more challenging since you playing against AI. It's good to see something else rather than B/R all the time it shows the games versatility

YOOOOOOO. This is what first person shooters are all about! This needs to be a thing more! We need more game titles with this level of realism. I would buy and order every DLC and pack after the basic package

Yeah, I've only played immersive mode. I got the game before it was a thing, but they announced it pretty fast after launch so I just waited for it before I really played the game. And it's been getting better with things like darker nights, syringes not being able to heal wounds etc etc. So they have added stuff after the initial release. Me and my friends don't play with this much UI disabled though, but pretty close to it. Makes the game a lot harder and way way more fun to play :-D It's basically the way its meant to be played I'd say, I bet many never even test it, which is a shame. Even while I'm playing solo it's a lot of fun to play like this. Although some missions become veeeeery hard solo with the highest difficulty and limited UI. Mainly due to some missions forcing enemies to your location etc. Those situations are trycky AF solo. But I enjoy the challenge.

This mode is quite literally the only reason I got into BP. I tried BP like 3 months after it came out havin been given a copy from a friend who hated it. I hated too! Blasted it with a shotgun. Over a year later, ...I actually really like BP in its own right. Hate the storyline and just don't care, but it's fun makin up my own ops or creating ops with friends.

I love those tactical reloads of magazines with 4-5 rounds fired.

honestly, i just use the ammo counter hud because it sucks when you dont know how many bullets you have left and when you cant check the mag like in ARMA 3.

This game shines in interior areas, but failse out in the open. If you get spotted outdoors, the enemy impossibly tracks you through canopy, brush and rocks with laser accurate fire, and its worse on higher difficulties. The AI is not intelligent in its approach. The game's inconsistency is one of the reasons i can never fully commit to it.

I picked up the game when it was on sale and only played with Realism mode on. It's honestly one of the best experiences out there. Shame that Ubisoft is ran by a bunch of concave-heads.

The only problem to me that Ghost recon breakpoint had, is being less diverse than Wildlands. Wildlands had more urban environments than this game, I like the clean house tactics and for this game is nowhere to be used that much since you don't have a urban environment on it.

If you want a real tactical experience then play tarkov and you'll see how easy that shit is

A mistake i often see in videos like this is the lack of covering and checking corners. Maybe it's because you know the game, when and where the targets are, but for real, you guys would have been dead many times over. I'm not saying i'm a lot better, but i do pay more attention to cover all ankels and make sure none are sneaking up on me, or any intel gets left unnotised.

I used to play MGS V PP n was so impressed. When I played this game I realized that MGS V was really overrated. GR BP is literally the perfect tactical shooter game especially with immersive mode

Me and two other friends of mine finished all the story missions and side quests in immersive mode. And it took us a long time I mean months because we where also exploring everywhere and also collecting all the weapons and attachments. But the most funny moments where when we lost each other ( where are you?…. On your left…. Oh didn’t see you there with that gillie suit on😂 ) It truly was a blast!🎉

Breakpoint as a whole is severely underrated, it gives you that feeling of power of a milsim without being a milsim, perfect balance beetween "arcadiness" and realism. I beat the whole game on the top difficulty, most restrictive configurations, no hud except objective marker (i tried without, it was miserable) and only used the drone when absolutely necessary in some sections (i think it's OP) not because im a "pr00 gamer" but bc i enjoyed the experience so much. I plan on doing a no squadmates no waypoints run eventually
