it doesn't matter what I do, I play on low preset settings, I get 20-40fps, I play on Ultra preset settings i get 20-40fps. I just dont understand... My Build: Intel i5 7500 Skylake 3.50 GHz AMD RX-480 8GB 16GB RAM 144hz AOC monitor

I’m having an issue with FPS since some days ago. The game used to run around 40 to 30 FPS in customs settings. Now it frequently drops to around 5 and being more stable around 15 or 20! It’s driving me crazy, not being able to play. My rig is a laptop with a geforce 1050 4GB, 8 RAM, 1T HDD, i5. I installed the new nvidia driver, it didn’t work. Tried installing the older one, issue persists. Uninstalled uplay and the game and didn’t solve. Scanned with kaspersky and no problems were found. I don’t know what else to do. If you have any clues, please tell me. I’m about to format the laptop.

Ik this video is old but I'm having a lot of trouble. I have a 1050ti 4gb vram and 16gb ram and my game on vulkan crashes after maybe 20 minutes or so. I have tried with medium terrain and texture and everything else how you say to put it in the video. I saw someone else have the same problem and they said it was the ram speed being pushes passed it limit, do you have any ideas on what may be wrong?

i3 8100 1060 6gb and 16gb ddr4. i was almost getting used in playing breakpoint with 45-50fps but after using this method i got 75 and the lowest i got is 66, there are a bit lag spike when rendering a map tho. thanks man :)

Ok.. so I got me a new power supply and graphics card because this game is so big, I have now the MSI RX580 8GB OC edition with 500w PSU … quad core i5 processor... 16gb RAM... and I can run the game really well at 60hz with max settings however.. the game only crashes for me up the top of the mountain with all the snow... why does this happen and does it happen for anybody else... I can play for hours anywhere else just fine but when I go to the mountain the game shuts off :'(

Got a rx5700xt nitro gpu and can't get a steady fps keeps dropping to 46fps some times in heavy combat which is crap do you know how to remove the 60fps cap the game has got

playing with level of detail set to medium causes my IR illuminator to come out in a weird shape instead of the normal circle light, sometimes it also happened to other light sources 😮‍💨 and it will never get fixed, shame

Intel I5- 7600 CPU and a nvidia RTX 2080 super with Acer predator monitor 144hz and 16 GB ram. And I cant even get the game to play right. And its bugging the heck out of me. I shouldn't be having any graphic problems but here I am trying to fix it.

Hey, I know I am late but there is a giant sale on ubisoft stuff rn and even tough GR Breakpoint is free, I bought it for like 7 euros, but I wanted to thank you for this tutorial, I had some FPS Stutter, so I put everything on low, but for some reason, I still got 35 or even 29 fps... So I searched for this. Turns out higher graphics settings actually run better than lower... I get around 40 fps now, still not the best, but it works for me. Seriously Ubisoft, fix your games!

In hopes someone is seeing this and able to give me a hint in the right direction (for i couldn't find anything so far): i'm having the issue of a frozen screen for a couple of seconds, happens every few minutes. If i'm using a helicopter it happens every couple of seconds. And or when i'm using the scope of a sniper rifle. Seems to be an issue with reloading textures but i wasn't able to pinpoint the problem- I'm not using the Gunsliger perk, having proper hardware, using DX (not vulcan). What seems to help a bit is deactivating VSync and lock the framerate to somehting between 30 and 40 frames. Any idea anyone?

Seriously, disable ambient occlusion?! No offence, but that is so far beyond hurting fps. It makes the entire image look stale and off, like it is a game from 2009. You have a fricking 2070, at 1080p, use it. Only scenario I see being this drastic of hurting image quality, is for multiplayer 144fps.

Depends on the game. Poorly implemented ambient occolusion can realy lower your frames if turned on.

i7 4770k @ 4.5ghz , 16Gb DDR3 1866mhz and 1080Ti, and i was completly capped at 60 fps in the open beta. So is that still lack of optimization on their end ?

Im on a rx5700 8gb gddr6 and no matter what settings i put the framerate is no where near 60. I also get these lines in the ground and textures sometimes take long to load

About 1 year I did not play the game because it has some stuttering, no matter what I did with the settings. Maybe gonna back and give it a try. I have an ASUS TUF FX 505 DU Ryzen5 3550H (3600 MHz), 16 GB RAM, GTX 1660Ti 6 GB, and 1 TB SSD. Can't imagine what was the problem... Had constant 50 fps, I exoected more with medium settings.

Fixed lags :Got 5sec frezed screen, too. U will no longer have some if u start it with vulkan. Have fun with my experience. ;)

I have a laptop with i5-8300h, 8 GB of DDR4 RAM and GTX 1050. I made this game look good on this and framerate is about 50 fps but when I was driving or starting cutscene I have huge fps drops. This is fault of hdd disk or sb have maybe another idea? This game runs good on your hdd?

dude i dont know why but at first i could run the game on high on 50+ FPS and even very high on 30-40 FPS but now i dont know why my laptop is struggling on medium and even at medium when i reach 60 fps after 1 or 2 second it drops to 10-15 FPS.

Yep it's optimzed for amd but I got a rx5700xt nitro and doesn't matter what settings or resolution it keeps dropping too 45fps all the time

I reinstalled the Nvidia GeForce experience, loaded my game on the panel ..optimized the game and put adaptive vsync on ...worked for around 6 hours game time but now it kicks me out to desktop. Wtf! I see there is a update in July, hopefully they fix it

If you have a pretty decent rig built in the last 5yrs at the time you should be able to run this game a MAX everything and get at least 60+FPS. If not you have a potato and need to upgrade as this game does NOT even need high requirements. If you have to tweak or turn things on or off or higher or lower etc this means your PC is OLD. Its like a Car 5-7 yrs old and its an antique. Ive been using computers since the late 80's and big electronics freak I always gotta have the newest TV, Stereos or whatever. And the ONE thing about electronics and or computers is anything and everything is replaced by a newer version in 6 months or year at most.
