Ghost Recon: Breakpoint in 2023 Is SOOOO Much Better 

I would love to play ghost recon breakpoint with you strain your the stealth master

Totally with you there, I wish they brought back the tactical planning aspect of it, its what attracted me to the original GR and RS series. I still remember when you could work out all your moves with your AI team mates and then watch as your plan unfolded and either worked or failed. Its one of the reasons I started playing Door Kickers2 .

once u get used to the game mechanics even on max difficulty becomes boring dues the stealth aparatus that makes u stealth, i am pondering to download the mod that increases combat range and detection and makes immersive mode even more immersive. weapon rating is for wussies xD

How long is this "immersive" story mode? Like how many hours? Kind of interested in picking this game up used or on sale now....

@@Romoredux It can be a long story..but I would say if its only story you want dont pick it up because the story will not be everything you want as its a fully open world game

@@MaritimexGaming lolll. Haven’t even played woodlands sadly but I’ve heard the only things better in that game is the atmosphere and story 🤷‍♂️ otherwise breakpoints better in every category it seems No hate btw, as someone who likes division 1-2 I totally get preferring the OG 🙌🏼

@@tyleredenburn8919 getting the best of both worlds is what developers need to offer. Not sure what's funny but hey it is what it is. Just a preference as you may just like online games only but I throw no shade lol

An amalgam of Immersive Mode Breakpoint and Wildlands woulkd be great. But honestly, nothing beats well crafted levels.

Yes! I would love a zombie game like this. Where you have some long sprawling story but does away with all the rpg elements and makes it just a straight tactical action stealth game

thats true. i went straight to walker in his base to kill him and even if it was so difficult i could beat it at the very beginning

@@victheplayer Yep. You can actually shoot down his escape helicopter at the start of the game, and then chase him down and kill him. No pesky drones to worry about You will need the rocket launcher.

i found the invisibility tech quite OP to the player lol, i m8 use the game mod to make it even more harder :D (i am playign once in a while in a team so game has no dificulty with decent A.I for team play, kinda which game could get patched to make it harder)

Yea, wish that part was more in-depth and immersive but yah, at least commands are available so I'm grateful for that.

Can you mod on PS5?

@@MrJosh066717 dont think so... but I play only on PC, I think modding on console is only possible if the devs have official support for it like some bethesda games have it I belive.

It's ubisoft, they really suck when it comes to story/writing. Always the most generic, sleep inducing stuff in their games. Gameplay is always nice, as are their worlds.

If you're on PC you open a whole new world by modding the game. Currently I'm doing an RP where the cold war hasn't ended and I'm playing as East German SF sent to stop some groups from framing the Soviet Union. Got a camo replacement mod and The Spartan overhaul, which pretty much turns the game into Arma or Squad. This is the most fun I've had in a while.

@@shadowwarior2231 I understand it was broken at launch but I didn’t play it at launch. I disagree. Going back to wild lands you give up a ton of features. It feels like the difference between gta4 and gta5 to me. Personal preference but after they fixed most of the issues y’all hated this game has a better story. I’m honestly tired of the cartel story. Wild lands is over rated if you ask me. The thing is they did update it and they didn’t abandon it. People like you probably killed the game with your negativity. You realize that these dumbass companies are only listening to people like you now. That means that a lot of games get abandoned because people shit on them so hard the devs panic and stop spending money on the project from fear that you won’t keep playing. It’s sad really. So many wasted opportunities and games because other people destroy live service games. The updates to the game are massive but you wouldn’t know because you’re too busy putting wild lands on some weird pedestal. It’s like y’all either want the first ghost recon game again or y’all want wild lands but you can’t have both. Break point is different enough from wild lands but so close that it baffles me that y’all really think wild lands is better. And wildlands is the furthest thing from what most people want with a ghost recon game. Most people want ghost recon 1 gameplay and that’s just not it at all. So I don’t get it but it whatever.

I thought the same for years. Gave breakpoint a go during lockdowns 😂 on immersive mode, haven’t played another game like it. 🤌🏻

The whole Bolivia map is just so good and the story is actually good. That's where the difference is. Gameplay isn't that much different IMO. Also, Breakpoint does not have Bowman and she's one of the coolest, slightly unhinged, video game characters ever.

Imo breakpoint is better overall, probably because it's new. But I do think wildlands have a really really great map and the environment feels more alive and real. And yeah I don't like being in Auroa. Also breakpoint main story sucks, if it weren't for op motherland this game would've been already dead.

Gold edition from both wildlands and breakpoint, they include the season pass dlc's, the ultimate is just adding some clothing or in-game resources in the beginning you can get anyway as you play along.

Me too. Wildlands had decent shooting but I found the idea of special ops murdering people down in South America to be a little too close to home. The whole "war on drugs" thing leaves me pretty cold.

You can play wildlands in 1st person with a mod, I just finished it that way, no hud, nothing on the screen, it was really awsome.

Can you play single player offline on Xbox?

@@ashb9567 sadly, no. It's a live-service game so you're always required to be connected to a server even when playing single-player.

@@clericneokun thanks for replying! Can I ask then, if I'm on Xbox Series X playing the single player story, what will happen if my internet connection goes off every now and then (which happens where I live) during gameplay?

@@ashb9567 then you'll constantly get disconnected and sent back to your last checkpoint. It'll be very annoying.

If breakpoint had that living feeling like Bolivia then it would change the whole concept of what breakpoint is designed to be. Breakpoints setting is an isolated hitec island run by militia. It's not Bolivia there totally different games. I don't find breakpoint lifeless atall. Once you explore there's lots of enemy strongholds,npcs work stations etc.. play it on immersive mode and the game is fantastic. Its much more in depth then wildlands and playin a lone soldier surviving on a lush island planning routes to infiltrate strongholds etc is so much more realistic and immersive then walking round Bolivia taking out cartel. Dont get me wrong I like wildlands and exploring Bolivia is great but it lacks serious immersion for me. With Wildlands your playin the game with breakpoint your in the game...

sorry but if you shoot someone in the head with a single pistol shot he dies so it's not like The Division where if you shoot an high value target who's wearing a balalaclava in the head he doesn't and Wildlands is even more realistic and that's why I prefer the last one. both are good games though.

@@littlemouse7066 Youre right , no complaints with headshots but I dont like that I have a gun like MK17 and popping off rounds at the bad guys torso and they just stagger a bit and keep shooting! Ubi needs to stop with the nonsense design though. For example in Wildlands SAM batteries are IMMUNE to gatling gun fire from helicopters, you need to use explosives. Also the copters have no chaff or flares. Heres hoping the next GR addresses all this.

@@wootle sorry but I think you're a bit picky it's a game you can't pretend it's completely realistic and they have limits in programming to avoid to have a game too big or too heavy for the CPU so since what the gamers want most nowadays is good graphics (which take a lot of resources from your system) they give priority to that but overall the game is realistic enough especially compared to other titles. In Wildlands you have bullet phisycs for instance which is not common.

@@littlemouse7066 Its just poor design choices but Ubi is famous for that. Lets make the SAM batteries immune to everything except explosives! In massive Just Cause games and as far back as the old Red Faction games we saw excellent destructible environments. Theres no excuse these days. Im not asking for GR to be hardcore milsim but they need to fix stuff like the terrible flight model of the helicopter for example - GTA5 does copters better. In GTA5 the air vehicles have pitch/roll/yaw which is lacking in GR. GR flying is like a cartoon lol. I still love WL and BP but these are annoying little faults.

I never played that game after watching its gameplay because it's absolutely silly ridicolous completely unrealistic nothing comparable to GR so sorry I prefer not being able to destroy the SAM with a gatling to do completely absurd and unrealistic things in the entire game. that's a game for kids.

Bro you can play it solo. You don’t need people to play the campaign. It’s completely optional.
