@@jeremiahfletcher6016 from my point o view yes if we talk about gameplay and costumization and movement, wildlands have just better history and driving. But have I say before after I play breakpoint tried again wildlands and didn't like anymore. Of course if have problems like the conversation looking bad really bad but I just skipped it.
@@jeremiahfletcher6016 I firmly believe that if wildlands had the injury system and same traversal mechanics it would be the better game by far but it doesn’t so breakpoint is better
I am playing this game without hud or markers. Enemy on advanced. Got 30 hours in the game only with just exploring. Just started to do missions. It’s so intens. One mission takes so much planning playing like this. Best game I played in years. Nothing comes close in terms of realism. Also the Ai are amazing.
@@sumstixks582I used to play it on my PC and it had an RTX 2060, and I got like 80fps or something. Lots of tweak settings and had to also undervolt my CPU/GPU w MSI Afterburner and this other app I downloaded
@brandoncorynagley92388 breakpoint is definitely mechanically and graphically superior, but you’re very correct when it comes to getting a bit boring. Super satisfying to play, but lacks the raw fun value of wildlands.
I’m 167 hours in on breakpoint, still have a few factions to do, few places to see, and few blue prints to pick up, absolutely love the game, stealth mode is the way to play it.
People hate on this game but it offers one of the most content for 3rd person shooter game, i had hours and hours on it and mission still restart and you can always play more. Same goes for Ac Odyssey with endless fun.
I was excited for it at first, but heard bad things and never got into it until the current 5$ price point sale on steam. Actually disgustingly good value for that amount. Game is actually fantastic. I am not sure what I am missing out on though considering I went without gear scores, little to no hud, and extreme difficulty. Extremely fun tactical maneuvering/stealth. I worried that the gear score stuff and all that would just make it another generic looter shooter with that arcade feel.
I like to minimize hud but still keep it just enough to avoid annoying/time consuming stuff. Bases and stuff like that are big enough and as it is a game I never know what they do or don't include and thus what I should or shouldn't look out for. So I keep minimal stuff like that on. Same reason I don't do the quest marker stuff so I don't have to read and figure out where on the island to go based on hints... If I am feeling in the mood and have more time I may switch those on for a bit. Still get enough of that feeling from investigation elements you find that reveal locations of things. I think the most important part is the extreme difficulty, minimal hud as possible without pointless although immersive time sinks, and no gear score.
Yes, I agree completely. I liked Wildlands, and Breakpoint was so cheap on sale, I figured I'd give it a go. Sure a lot of the cut scenes are weirdly acted and sometimes seem like an afterthought. But the moment to moment stealth and pew-pew is just a lot of fun.
I love it so much but sometimes it becomes to much because it never ends and I get caught up in wanting to complete stuff that I forget to enjoy how fun it really is because there’s so much to do
I have 1300+ hours in the game (PS5), all of the DLC, most of the gear, completed the story and conquest modes, and I am at XP level 99. The game is the best of its type since the days of SOCOM on PS2. I was in the Marine Corps and this is how I get my OORAH fix now. My wife plays and she is at XP level 99 also.
Bought it 90% off at Steam. Best bang for the buck! Love the game, great visuals, atmospheric music, tons of custom outfits for your char etc etc. I love exploring in this game :)
For some reason, I started playing this game because it was crazy cheap; I think it was 90% off, back in early 2021. Started playing it because I was I didn't have a powerful PC; and I was a free GeForce Now user; and this game did not have any waiting queue to play. So I played it 59 minutes, then quit the game, then play again. Then, I purchased a really good laptop, so I played it there even more. Even though it had hate and all... I really liked this game. I liked it a lot.
On my 6th run through. 563 hrs game time. Reached level 99 and 20 on all classes. Have been to every location on the map, zero grayed out areas exist. Have every weapon, attachment and piece of equipment sans anything raid based and collected all items. And with all that completed, I still go back and play some more. If they go FPS only on the next one, I'm out.
I have 5 visual palettes. 1.black 2.Snowy 3.A-Tacs FG-x 4. Multicam tropic for the swamp in the sinking country province 5. A- Tacs AU-x for the Rocky terrain areas
I love Breakpoint. I also love Splinter Cell Blacklist. Two games that get maligned by fans in ways I just don’t understand. It’s like narratives have developed around both that just get parroted.
I have 572 hours on breakpoint on xbox with 62 hours on top of that on pc and i must say breakpoint is truly addicting imo. One of my favorite features in the game is the dynamic weather which makes gameplay much more fun. I spent way too much time in the snowy mountains at night with whiteout conditions making it hard to see but all the more really fun. I should start spending more time in the fjords and the bogs where the thunderstorms can get pretty crazy. I’ve also realized that certain missions have specific weather conditions tied to them, but only in the areas where the mission is set.
I love Breakpoint as a retired operator its fun just to plan and execute. Everything you said in this video is dead on. I wish if you execute someone like in Wildlands they drop with one single shot. I shouldn't have to hit my target 2-3 times in Breakpoint. But BEST GAME EVER. I play realistically. If I'm wounded I (Charlie Mike) keep playing until the mission is completed playing realistically until I exfil.
I love this game so much. It’s really better than ever and when you get into it after 20 hours and experience all the details like realism, weapon modification, world, tactics, classes, it’s just awesome. Hope so much there will be a sequel.
i have 300 hours on this game + one of the fastest legit raid times in the world. also still haven’t seen every part of the map, such a fun game for relaxing . i just chill and listen to a pod cast on my other monitor
This game on immersive mode is insanely good, didnt play it on release it looked awful with all that gear score stuff. But now it's the stealth shooter ive been missing for a ling timr
I suggest going extreme mode with no hud. Playing on default full hud and easy difficulty ruins what the game could be about. I got 400 hours , on and off, i play extreme mode
Yeah. Breakpoint is the most next gen feeling game from ubisoft. Just a pleasure to walk around. I wished there was option to holster a weapon and non lethal takedowns. Hope Assassin's creed Shadows will roll me off Breakpoint. I can't play games without prone movement now
It really is a great game. I kind of want a SWAT themed game but with Breakpoint’s 3rd-person mechanics and free roam. Like on-duty open-world cop theme ☺️
Try GTAV LSPDFR mod. You are a cop in the gta world and you respond to many different callouts. You can play as normal LAPD, LAPD Metro, SWAT, FBI, Scheriff and with other mods also CIA and more
@@keysncoffee7733 No problem. And if you want to experience the whole Close Quarter Combat Stuff as a SWAT Officer you should definitely check out Ready Or Not if you havent already
@@keysncoffee7733Also when you are looking for the whole Close Quarter Combat stuff like house clearing, compounds etc check out ready or not if you havent already
Try The Division 2. It's basically open world SWAT raids everywhere you go. Gun fights every other corner. They literally have gear for police officers and sheriffs.
it will take longer to finish. I've got something like 550 hours clocked in between PS4 and PS5. At this point, the only way of getting any better gear is to run the raids in Gollem Island. I do own both games in PC, and playing there is on a whole other level. Spartan mod and there's a 1st person POV mod as well. And yes, both games are certainly beautiful. Very breathtaking.
Why i like breakpoint than wildlands are because of the stealth gameplay and gun gameplay. They implemented it better than wildlands. Though, wildlands story and map are way better than breakpoint. (Bought the game on sale on steam for $7 lol)
I got breakpoint in 2020 around when I got back into gaming and I freaking love the game. I have over 300 hours in the game. It's not a perfect game but I'll say I sure had fun! If you have fun in a game then it's a good game right. Glad your digging the game!
I have been playing Breakpoint for a week now, although I had problems with the controller not working for no reason, I now have gotten used to that and have really enjoyed my time playing this open world feel game. It is the first game to feel like Skyrim. I also like that there are no real world changing mods, like Skyrim, and other games, because you then just mod the hell out of your game and play something different..
I can't get behind Breakpoint as much as much the improved game mechanics. A fundamental part of the game are the enemy controlled bases but, in this strange fictional country of Auroa, the bases look awkwardly futuristic and not very fun compared to those in Wildlands. Unfortunately, most of the game forces you to infiltrate them and take out those imaginary behemoths and rinse and repeat. I think the game is much more fun in group play where the team agrees on how to play in a certain way that gives them replay value. I've found myself going back The Division 2 sook after dipping my feet into Breakpoint.
I've played 150 hours solo on 1 save. And around 50 and 20 hours coop on my other saves. On the console I have another save with around 200 hours over multiple saves. I will download the Spartan mod for Nexus Mods, which makes the game more difficult and realistic. Enough content till a new Ghost Recon drops.
This game was incredible. While Wildlands was fun i really loved the oppressive feeling of being alone in this game. I played solo without AI team mates (even when they added them i turned them off) and loved it. The only poor thing was the story. Each update made the game better and better. It's truly a glorious open world Ghost Recon sandbox.
Things i would 100% change in breakpoint: - Civilian cars actually on the roads, makes the world feel alive - More small/medium towns where actual people live - Redo how cars in the game sound (wildlands was fine) - introduce a stealth format where each item of clothing has an incognito rating (all body armor/tactical army gear= low. jeans and a t-shirt= high) so you can blend in with civilians in the world without getting picked out in a split second. - more reinforcements/harsher punishment for going loud this is just off the top of my head about frustrations i have with the game (mainly the world that it’s in)
Really glad I never sold this game back. I bought it at launch, Absolutely hated it. But I just popped it back in a week ago and love it. Immersive Mode brought it back (Although it should have been like that from jump). Still in all the game is truly Triple A. Definitely going to buy the DLC’s.
I only have 3050ti laptop but still enjoying breakpoint on medium graphics. It has lots of potentials tho. Would really play it again if i could get better gaming set up
The thing i would like and probably many others is customization mods for console like there is a feature in snowrunner where u have community mods it would be cool for them to add community mods for breakpoint it would make the game much more enjoyable and the customization variety would be extended
Id buy this game after all these patches if they just removed that online only requirement. Wildlands has a better map and a better story idea with you tasked with taking out an organization.
We need the infinitive shootouts from Ghost Recon Wildlands, Ghost Recon Narco Road and Ghost Recon Fallen Ghosts into Ghost Recon Breakpoint and also we need AI Teamates in multiplayer CO-OP gameplay in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Ghost Recon Narco Road, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Fallen Ghosts and also to make the AI teamates to put their suppressors and remove their suppressors of their weapons when the players go quietly or loadly in all.of those videogames and also the make the AI teamates to do breachings and steal approaches as the players do when they go stealthy in all.of those videogames. Please ask Ubisoft that. Thanks.
I love breakpoint despite it's many flaws and the fact that I detest Ubisoft, I've got 350+ hours on it. To help keep it fresh check out nexus mods for some great mods like "Spartan" which makes it MUCH more difficult and ads some realism and "Authentic Battle Sounds" which does what it says lol, he's changed gun sounds and few other things. There's even a first person mod but I'm not a fan of it.
Just bought this game because it was 7 bucks on steam and as a TC franchise fan from the first games like ghost recon and rainbow six, ill say the games alright but its a far cry from what the Ghost recon series is supposed to be. Its still a substanceless open world ubi game in a way. Its kinda sad but its given me something to play i guess
between breakpoint and division 2 i have to say i love breakpoint way more sinceit feels more realistic and you rely more on tactic htat the level of your gun
However I Love the world, I love the weapons, though the upgrading is a bit soft and weak, but I enjoy it. And ofcourse I spend way to much time making my character look awesome with camo patterns etc and gear. But gee, I hope this is not the only game like this that will ever exist. For some stupid reason everyone is going to First Person, but it sucks, Third Person is great, and I love that about this. I hated Cyber Punk for not being Third Person. I just didnt connect with it in First person view.
I like Wildlands for overall better story and more cutscene that weren't emotionless robot talking. But Breakpoint just felt better, like the handling is a great improvement despite I'm using the same keyboard and mouse. The scenery too, artificial massive building really fits.
Tbf this game grew on me during lockdown so much I got the all the year passes for it. Loved all the dlc from Spliter cell to my favourite team team Rainbow ( untill ubi made them woke) ended up Platinum the game. Made outfits that fit each environment I enter, Roll on the next Ghost recon.
Meh about the environment on Breakpoint, I still love Wildlands real world location and diverse bioms. Gameplay yes to Breakpoint, just dissapointed they didn't finished the updates on gun sounds.
for the budget chads out there, try in game fps limiter (foreground) set it to 45fps, see if it looks and feels the same as 60 fps, for me - it does. vertical sync - off anti-aliasing (AA) - on fullscreen (what other relevant settings is there? remind me guys)
45 FPS doesn’t feel like 60 or more, for literally no one. You made a mistake with the fps cap and it’s still unlimited or you have some sort of disability if you really feel that way lmao
