Some guides tip and tricks for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint (commonly referred to as Ghost Recon Breakpoint) is an upcoming online tactical shooter video game developed by Ubisoft Paris and published by Ubisoft.
It is due to be released worldwide on October 4, 2019, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and in November 2019 for the Google Stadia.[2] The game is the eleventh installment in the Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon franchise and is a narrative sequel to the 2017 video game Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands.

It is so weird they let you kill walker after you finish the tutorial, I did that and then go for other mission and walker is alive again 🤣

@jacksongoodman3625 weirdly the way the game is designed you can do the missions in any order you choose. This can sometimes throw you through a loop with the story.

@jacksongoodman3625 that’s ok your playing in Ghost mode which is much more immersive than normal mode and is designed to give you full control to do what you want when you want to do it

The biggest issue I have with the board, is inconsistency. Some missions automatically rollover between phases, while others require you to manually go into the next phase.

🙄.......I love how I'm only now getting to this video after 15 hours - it's likely because of playing Just Cause 3 and 4, Saints Row 3 and 4 right before..........but this game is a joy for a multitude of reasons, one of which is a change of gaming pace. It's amazing how much 'into' a game I can get if you give me a chance to stop and smell the roses 👍 (let me be honest, if you watched a time-lapse of my map screen, you'd assume Mr Magoo had somehow escaped a chopper crash and was now busying himself with bird watching and harvesting crop, as if the situation on Auroa can wait a while for me to sightsee my way into the next gunfight....) Long-winded comment short, thanks again mate and umm, apologies for carpet bombing you with comments, it's all coming from a grateful place 🍻

Can someone please tell me how to access the missions for Trey Stone, Peter Miles, Ilsa Herzog, Ian Blake, SGM Josiah Hill and Grace Maddox ? I've completed virtually everything I can aside from some Daily Faction missions but I just can't seem to activate those names on the Objective Board. Please help.

Well, I've just killed Trey Stone and to all intents and purposes the game is done. I never did come across Peter Miles, Isla Herzog, Ian Blake and Josiah Hill in Episode 1. Although I did talk to Grace Maddox but there were no missions involved. In Episode 2 I didn't encounter Victor Caste or Midas. Can anyone explain why this is ?

I actually did a few missions or so that involved locating Josiah Hill and the other Ex-Ghosts that sided with him and Walker before taking walker down just for the story missions to make more sense lol.

To a degree this is true however like most games it will force you back to certain missions to unlock the next part of the story. Ubisoft have tried to allow you as much flexibility to choose how you want to play the game as possible

Hi Juan This should help get the achievement Go to the Objetives Board and to the right you'll find the Faction Missions, search for the ones marked with a Skull/Knife, complete 5 of them and Achievement Unlocked.

I’ve been playing this game since more then a month but i m still so confused..i thought walker would be the final boss of the first episode but i can kill him directly without going through most of the missions. I don’t understand how to play the main story mission in a chronological way..

I think they wanted to give you some freedom in what order to play certain missions…. I agree though there needs to be an order to the main missions. Otherwise it’s just confusing

When you say you have completed all 3 episodes does this mean you have completed everything in Red Patriot and Deep State? Several of the names you highlight are directly linked to these DLCs. I totally agree though they have not made it easy to figure out. For instance have you found Josiah Hill at the end of Ep 1? If you did his quest line is finished and therefore you have nothing further to do. Hope this helps

I just started playing this game after having a ton of fun with Wildlands. This game is the most confusing thing I’ve played. Everywhere I go to tells me I’m in a dangerous area. Enemies are bullet sponges.

I am assuming you have completed the Walker mission? Y/N if you have the I have a dedicated video explaining how to move from episode 1 to episode 2. Please search that out in the Ghost Recon playlist or popular videos on my channels main page. What is a little though is there are a number of people shown in the objectives board that don’t actually have any mission storyline to them. Not sure why they designed it this way…so my advice is just to follow the main mission and ignore these greyed out ones

Question…. Your objectives screen in Episode 1 looks just like mine. Josiah Hill, Trey Stone, and the Mercs that report to Trey are all blacked out. I’ve already finished the main storyline in Episode 1 (Walker and Hill are now dead), but Hill’s mission card never changed from being blacked out? Also, after defeating Walker, I received the phone call from Trey Stone, where he said he was looking forward to taking on Nomad….but Trey’s mission card never changed from being blacked out? What’s going on? How do you get those to open up?

The Trey Stone mission is in ep 3 Red Patriot. Also have you gone and found Hill in the Southern part of the map?? If not it could explain why this is not blacked out, I would also make sure you talk to everyone in Erewhon 😎

@@Gaming4XP Do you mean towards the beginning of the Episode 1 storyline, where he was hiding out in that shack by the lake…? I’ve completed all of the Episode 1 missions now, so Hill has already revealed himself to be a traitor, and I already killed him in the cave towards the end of the storyline, as well as Walker at his base. Do I need to go back through the Episode 1 missions and replay them, maybe, to trigger something that would unlock Hill’s card?

@adam3797 some people miss the last part of the Hill mission and can’t find him in the cave….just wanted to check you have done this without spoiling it if you hadn’t 😎 From what you have described you have completed everything in EP1….. I did find though talking to all the Main NPCs in Erewhon after I completed these revealed some other missions 🤔

@@Gaming4XP Interesting. Thanks so much, man! I’ll give a try. I love this game, best tactical shooter I’ve ever played, and I don’t mind spending extra money to purchase the DLC and the extra gear and stuff, but man….Ubisoft definitely missed the ball on this particular Episode 1 tree structure. It’s so confusing! I mean, if they didn’t intend for Stone’s card to open up until Episode 3, they could have at least included some text box that popped up when you hovered over the card that says, “Purchase the Episode 3 DLC to unlock this story”, or, since Hill is already dead by this point in the game’s progress, they should have crossed out his mission card and put “Deceased” text over it really big or something. The way it is now, is super confusing. 🤷‍♂️

If you are (still) playing in immersive mode have a look at the immersive option menu. The last option should be turning the marker on or off. With the marker off you have to ask people at the region for information to find the location of the mission✌️

Josiah Hill is part of the main storyline so you should come across him a few times. There is one final mission in the sSouthern part of the map. I will not spoil this for you if you haven’t done this yet, however this will only trigger if your in the correct part of map.

Josiah Hill has a final mission where you need to go and find him on Egg Island. Trey Stone from memory you need to have Red Patriot (ep 3) which is a paid expansion. Peter Blake’s Mission …Blake’s Law you need to talk to Skell at Erewhon to get this

@Yourgeographyteacher236 my suggestion is to go around and speak to Mads, Maria, Skell, Fox, etc at Erewhon and see if other missions activate. This is something the game developers don’t really encourage you to do but I remember getting a tonne of missions doing this.

Some of the profile like Grace Maddox,Peter Miles Ian Blake look unfinished but if you have done their mIssions then these are essentially done. A bit weird but that the way the game ha s been designed

The way Ubisoft have structured this is very confusing. I think you will find that a number of missions like Herzog are in episode 2 which is a paid dlc. As you can see this isn’t totally obvious, it just looks like the main story continues 🤔🤦‍♂️

I finished the game but I still have a bunch of incomplete stuff in episode 1 & 2. The 2 faction stuff on the right keep resetting and I have to try the amber Sky mission and the other one. There is also more to do with the strategist but I looking for clues.

This seems to be a common problem, firstly some of these people you actually don’t end up finding it purely their own bio/story you unlock. Very confusing I know and secondly some continue into Ep2 or even further before you can conclude things 🤔

i got DC when doin Maria Schulz first mission, now the mission didnt showed anymore. is it bug bro? cus when i back to earwhorn, find maria, texted on her only Shop and discuss.. on my Mission Menu, mission on her sitll 0/4.. means, not completed. 😅

There are some areas in the objectives board that lol like missions but are purely just bio info. I get questions about these all the time and why Ubisoft did things this way I have no idea. My advice is just move forward into Ep2 if you have done the Walker mission in EP1.

Hi Shamus I suspect you have come to the end of episode 1 and are trying to move into episode 2. Unfortunately Ubisoft don’t explain that both episodes 2 & 3 are paid dlc. To progress you will need to buy these .

Hi TJP killing Walker should be the last mission in Episode 1 then from memory you go back to the main base at Erewhon. Some dialect there and then it should transition you into Episode 2. Here’s the problem, I think it lets you play a small part of EP2, however to continue you will need to purchase this as it’s an expansion dlc. Hope this helps

So i bought the game cuz i loved the first part i.e wildlands. In this game, episode 1 i finished all the missions but i couldnt get trey stone, peter miles and the rest which are followed. They are all locked in episode 1 and i am still yet to play side missions. Not sure if thats the reason i couldnt get to play the other missions i mentioned. I remember i played sam fisher mission too but that was in ep 2 but still its locked for me. In episode 3 i am done with killing kraken and harpy. Is that it? Am i supposed to purchase the pass thing and continue ep 2 and ep 3? 🙆🏻‍♂️

Hi Dinesh, you should be able to finish Ep 1 no problem, however this is a bit confusing as they give you some access to starting missions for Ep2. You can’t complete either Ep2 or 3 without purchasing these. I highly suggest doing all the side missions relating to Ep1 to make sure everything is done. The last mission in Ep1 should be the one where you confront Walker.

Hi Ian the episode 2 is called Deep State and is an expansion to the game. What this means is it’s a paid DLC , however it was free to download recently as part of Ghost recon 20th anniversary. You will need to go to the store and install it to continue

Hey Paul Ep2 is just a continuation of Ep1 and flows nicely. EP3 Red Patriot is all about searching individual target down and eliminating them. I did a series on red patriot if you want to check these out to get a feel for them. Hi Sam, Side missions are the key to get ahead of the curve. Make sure you pick these up in Erewhon and at random places across the map. You can also do faction missions and events to level up

Episode 2 is a paid DLC which lets you progress so far. Then unless you buy it you can’t move past that point. Maybe try conquest mode if you don’t want to spend the money 🤔

Hi Ibraim, Josiah Hill has a mission called Point of No return, you need to talk to Skell in Erewhon to trigger this. I don’t want to spoil this for you but if you need more help with this please let me know. As for Trey Stone this extends into EP2 which is a paid DLC

Hi Lele there are a couple of things to understand about these. Firstly some of these continue into episode 2 and 3, I have a video explaining how to transition into episode 2. Secondly for some reason there are a few people on the objectives board that are blanked out and have no missions associated with them. So oddly there is nothing you can actually do with them. Hi Bryan you need to pin the mission you are working on to your HUD/Front screen and it should show up on the map. If this doesn’t work try going into your settings menu. Choose the INTERFACE menu and scroll down to HUD markers, make sure objectives markers are turned on. Then scroll down a little further to MAPS and check if objective icons are switched on Sometimes if you are playing in immersive mode these can be turned off. Hope this helps 👍🏻

Hi Antonis, I think you may have got your wires crossed a little. Ep 1 is the start of the game so there is no level requirement as you essentially start from level 1 and work forward.

Yes with the main storyline you do, although you should reach a point we’re you have a choice which order you want to do certain missions in. Of course you can also choose to do side missions at any point 👍🏻

Technically Aaron the base game is only Episode 1 and the expansions are Ep 2 and 3. So you can beat the game by completing episode 1. Unfortunately it doesn’t feel like this as the storyline continues into episode 2. I have dedicated a video to this explaining what happens next

Hi Kosta, The blue missions are collectibles that you should pick up as you move around the map, they are everywhere so should not be hard to find.The green missions can be activated by talking with various people like Mads in Erewhon. Once you have completed Episode 1 all other content is DLC based and therefore you will need to purchase these. Alternatively you can just play Conquest mode for free. Hope this explains thing.
