What’s the movie about?
In order to save his father from an accident, stunt motorcyclist Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) sells his soul to the devil. This deal has a price: human by day, Ghost Rider by night, he’s the devil’s bounty hunter. With a flaming skull and a fiery motorcycle, he is sent to hunt down sinners.

Fun fact, Nic is so into the character that no CGI was used while he's in Ghost form. He removed all skin muscle and tendons (etc) and set his bare skeleton on fire. True commitment to the role.

Alternate interpretation: Ghost Rider's jaw didn't actually break, he just did that himself as a way of telling the cop (who he likely did not want to hurt as he's just doing his job) don't try anything stupid.

As a fan of the comic when I was a kid, I wasn't disappointed by this movie. Cage did a good job, the effects aren't too much, even the music fits well throughout. The story line could've been more accurate but then, few things translate perfectly to the big screen.

Ghost Rider's powers are very accurate. I would've preferred someone other than Nicholas Cage playing him though, I just don't like his overacting. As for the character, I think they mixed the personalities of Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch. If I remember right, Johnny Blaze hated being possessed by Zarathos while Ketch embraced the curse. And Ketch was the one that wore the spiky leather jacket while Blaze wore a motorcycle racing outfit.

Ghost Rider doesn't kill, but anyone hit with Penance Stare is pretty much comatose to the outside world, while they're forced to experience ALL that pain and suffering. It's like their soul takes a temporary trip to hell while their body stays alive. In Blackheart's case... Well... All the souls he'd reaped beforehand, plus all the souls in the contract, and all their pain and torment heaped on to someone who probably had no conception of what it actually FELT like to experience any kind of torment....

I genuinely like the moments in this scene, because it shows that the GhostRider itself expresses his moral-code, and it says to one individual you innocent. So I hope these important aspects of the entity known as the GhostRider could be shown in the next version of (GHOST RIDER) movie.
