Ooooh boy. This one is also one I've wanted to do for a long time, I think since 2016. (And using very primitive effects work.)
Originally the video was going to be an adaptation of Richard Jordan's "Percy's Viaduct." I wanted to do a bridge collapse, one no one had ever attempted before, but it proved to be too ambitious for both me and Knuck, who was going to do the big set-piece. Me and him were in a call one night when the viaduct story went into the can, in which when I suggested this one, he literally went into Substance Painter and did a "ghost" version of Percy. (In which, one: I have never seen him go into Substance so fast to texture a model, and two: Thank you Knuck.)
The most time-consuming part of the entire video was in fact the "Ghost Trick" sequence, in which I shot A LOT of footage, and didn't get it quite right the first few attempts. Thankfully, in all of those, Jacob Jinty was present, and he guided me through on how to convey the suspense of the sequence properly. Thank you Jacob. (For that and those awesome ADR sounds for a certain ghostly specter's sound effects.)
