A then and now look at the lost railway line that ran through Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales. Calling at Redmire, Aysgarth, Askrigg, Hawes and Hawes Junction (Garsdale). Feel free to subscribe and check out other lost lines!
I know that part of the line has been ressurected (approximately 1 mile), but I would dearly love to see the whole length of the Barnstaple to Lynton line done like this [approximately 20 miles all told]
Great video! Seen this on the other channel. I’m curious to know what are the thin green lines on some of the maps? I know this one doesn’t have any but some of the others do. Usually it’s easy to see on the middle of the map, sometimes on the right side map when the train is going by. But I don’t know what it means or what’s different about it. Is it areas that are planning to be developed? Because I heard that there are a few countrysides planning to get developed so I’m wondering if that’s what it’s highlighting. They look like development lines.
