This is a sick Halo: Reach MLG Team Slayer gameplay on Sanctuary from top MLG pro Ghostayame, in which he and 3 other top MLG pros wreck 4 players in the MLG playlist. Ghostayame gets 13 kills without dying a single time, and his team ends up 50-0ing the other team with some ridiculous team shooting. Enjoy!

This is one of the best pushes ive watched in a wile. as soon as he made it to there SR spawn without dieing it was over. after about the 3 time the other team was force spawned into there rocks the amount of pressure they were taking is almost impossible to pull out of. the is the perfect game

The intelligence of swapping shots onto the player that is the MOST threat is very noticeable. Guy crouching on rocks ramp is totally disregarded for the player that is laying fire on teammates. Smart gameplay.

Pay close attention to the double kill at 1:35 and notice that the second enemy player couldn't even score a hit. And Ghostayame was jumping, usually something that slows down movement in my experience. This game was pretty unevenly matched and this specific part shows it. Granted, a 50 to nuthin' game is still impressive.

damn son. That was fucking hilarious, especially when that one kid hid in the corner. Amazing team shooting, although ghost definitely should have died when he was no shields and the kid missed like 6 pistol shots in a row.

The other team was not actually that bad. They just didnt have anywhere near the level of teamwork that their opponents did. That was constant spawn boxing so that blue team never had a chance to breathe and get any map control back.

Wow, the other team just had no chance. I've lost pretty bad over the years but never been shutout, I guess the old Halo 3 guys are gonna be just as good when Reach comes onto the circuit

@Rockluver223 I think they might have made the right choice actually. Ghostayame's shields were dropped to zero quite a few times, yet he still always pulled off the kill under pressure. Snipedown may have gotten the better score, but Ghostayame's gameplay was probably more exciting to watch.

I assume most pros play halo almost everyday and therefore have amazing accuracy because of their dedication. That and maybe a little talent sprinkled in.

Geez, Ghostayame spams quite a bit at a longer range. That's why he wasn't finishing most of those kills and getting that assist spree.

You know he missed a lot of kills because he didn't stop spamming, its almost as if he was panicking, if he stopped spamming for one second (A COUPLE TIMES) and waited for the bloom to reset for just a second he wouldn't have lost about 3 or so kills.

@the9thdude Its not a flaw... thats how MLG is supposed to be played you always spawn on one side of a map. It makes map control more important

@Weedaliza well, none of the other team were actually sitters, because they actaully tried to survive and score. also, i dont know if you actually own reach or not but if you do, you've probably noticed that host doesn't matter anywhere near as much as it did in H3. The multiplayer servers for Reach are unbelievably good.

You must time your shots for the optimal distance that you are from your opponent. This is why spamming in different timing is crucial. Mastering bloom is harder than you think.

The blues could have been decent players but they didn't communicate or use pack tactics. They were all running and jumping around trying to play loner while Ghost and his buddies worked together to take down individual targets one at a time. Plus nobody on Blue knew how to shoot precisely or use an armor ability to save himself. I'm not gonna lie, this shit's one of the sickest games I've ever seen.

@TimOXC I saw several times that he slowed down a touch before the 5th shot. It wasn't a lot, but you don't need a full bloom reset for an accurate shot in Reach. Other times he spams all the way but gets help on the team shot.

@merf4 uhh no? it wasnt just him who was fighting people. the entire team was killing them. there were shots going off the entire game. this is about the average pace of a reach mlg game, not like in halo 3 where when you kill the team they spawn on the other side of the map and it takes forever to run there.

Hate to butt into this convo, but one of the main problems of halo reach is how a great team is going to stomp no matter what, because of how much more powerful teammate play is in halo reach compared to halo 3. No way in halo 3 would you get a 50-0 game just because someone could actually land 4 shots with BR and kill someone.

@montif16 Even if you copy their settings it won't help you. MLG Pros play on a range of different settings. You can be good with whatever settings you are comfortable with. But if you really wanted to know; they play usually on a 3-5 sensitivity, rarely higher and never lower. Button layout is usually bumper jumper but default is a very close second. No FPSfreaks.

I meant too small spartans. Anyway things that arent in mlg and make the game more random is: Armor abilities. Every single armor ability sucks, even sprint. Its a crutch for bad players to get out of situations, and thats why they took it out of mlg.

@fiveo100 no it takes two melees to take down shields and one on a guy without shields and if you look he splits shields before he melees so it was a legit MLG gametype.

So I Just watched "Ghostayame (An MLG Pro) - Halo: Reach 50-0 Win Gameplay (Sanctuary Slayer)" and searched for the players names after the game and noticed that Spartan Battle has his side of the story in his file share. So I thought I'd convert his video and put it up here for everyone to see. @eminemfan9225 But...there is a trueskill ranking system for each playlist. Even in H3, if someone was new to the playlist, there was no way to tell how good they were.
