While this game wasn't much in terms of content, this cel-shaded, stylized artstyle looks fucking GORGEOUS! I'm a HUGE sucker for cel-shaded & Stylized artstyles so this game looks beautiful to me 😂 also, does anyone else see potential in this new team, i kind of want to see them in the upcoming Afterlife sequel

Bad dialogue or cheesy lines aside, the art style is great! Better than the stylised version of the previous game I'd say. The cel-shading looks really good and overall it's not a bad looking game. If they had developed a game more similar to the 2009 one, being a third person action game, I think it could have done really well. It's been proven several times that people really loved the 2009 game, myself included, with many considering it the "third Ghostbusters movie" (before Afterlife came out at least). Had they done a similar game for the 2016 movie, at least that could have done at least decently well. Instead we got this game which isn't a bad idea necessarily, but it just didn't fit a Ghostbusters game.

Lego Dimensions had a better take on the 2016 movie. This game is about the "B team" who is protecting New York while Abbey and pals are in Washington DC stopping ghosts of hit-men. But why focus on the B Team at all? The set up a cool story for the the 2016 girls. They stopped ghost assassins from taking out the President! That sounds much better than the B team's story. You make DC an open hub world and go to different monuments to stop ghosts like John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald.

Is Annie Potts, Jeanine Melnitz from the original, voicing the blonde chick? It sure sounds like her.

I am really confused. I was an original Ghostbusters fan from '84. Loved the cartoons, had toys etc etc. So out of the loop am I on the whole Ghostbusters 2016 thing because as soon as the first thing I heard about the film was "it's all-female" I knew the intent was to make a statement rather than a film, this is the first I know of a "new" computer game launched in 2016. I am finding this out on New Year's Day 2020. Wow. Genuine question, are the females in this game meant to represent the actual female film characters because they look oddly sexed up in this game which Paul Feig despite creating "billion-dollar space aliens" can't create sexy Ghostbusters 2016 and I am gay. Take that up ya fucking arse wokers.
