Full Demonstration of my hand built afterlife pack. The previous video was done with camera in hand and I wanted to re-do it with my camera in a fixed position.
@@mburkit my son and I were just at Ghostbusters day in Los Angeles, we were there in full gear, but we are looking to improve our packs, would you consider helping us with the electronics and maybe a few other tips?
First of all, I absolutely love this pack, you did a great and awesome job on it… I was wondering where did you get the audio for it? I’d love to add that audio to my pack!
Everything on this pack is made like the hero packs were in Afterlife. The only thing printed on this pack are the booster frame and the filler tube cap. The shell is a modified cast from a screen used GB1 pack.
Cyclotron lights are spinning the wrong way. The video on Adam Savage’s Tested channel where he looks at the screen-used prop shows the cyclotron lights spinning clockwise…
@@what0080 not only is it spinning counter clockwise in that scene, it is also spinning counter clockwise when Phoebe first fired at Muncher inside Rust City.
It is mainly just a delineation that is made from some of the Facebook groups I belong to that are hyper focused on accuracy. We call the pack that Adam Savage and Tested posted reference material for was #2 while the one that Adam handled on set was #1. #1 was also the one worn by Phoebe when she first tested the pack with Podcast outside of "Rust City."
@@mburkitGotcha. When Savage posted his photos I noticed differences between that one and the Pack used in the promo pic on the Afterlife app. I didn't realize they were both Hero Packs though.
@@mburkit Btw, I just wanted to thank you for being so kind to Sarah. Please know it means a lot to me. I'm helping, but she's doing a lot of the leg work on her Afterlife build. Funny enough, after a little while I asked her how she was coming up with some of the things she was doing. She confidently replied "a friend" and walked away. Lol. So, thank you.
@@Calmerthanyou yeah, no problem. I haven't had to do much; I think she is mostly following my posts on public forums. But she has reached out and she seems to be very happy with her build so far.
I don't think I could build enough of them fast enough to enough people to make it worth my time. I do love this pack and I am sure others would love to own one too, but I need to stick with my day job.
