Cheeesch, Hello to all you talented folks. I’ve been watching BG covers for a little while now, and this is the first time I’ve realized the family resemblance Anne Marie and Emily share. Seeing the cast lineup including Anne Marie’s (maiden, I presume ?) name. I’ve watched many of BG’s videos with those two together. Hold On, for example is one of my favorites. They are standing side by side in that video, and nope, didn’t catch it there. It’s so obvious here with the camera angle looking up at Anne Marie. It’s a GOOD things you two, it’s a compliment !! Another observation; I’m envious (not jealous) as the Castellano’s are obviously a “musical family”. For example, Richie’s father, rolling up and smoking that MM guitar in Sledgehammer. May I ask please, how long you’ve all been playing, how old were you b4 you could play any covers all the way through? What was your first instrument, and, I know Richie doesn’t like to hammer a drum kit, are there other instruments which are not particular favorites to other BG folk? Which instrument is the one you most love? Much like yourselves, I’ve just never had stage fright, and I love to play. At 7 years old the boy that was supposed to sing “Away in a Manger” at the church Xmas show we went to, got cold feet at literally the last minute. I overheard the Pastor tell my Mother this, at which time I turned around and much to his surprise I said to him, “I’ll do it”. He asked, and I assured him I knew the first 2 verses by heart. Without accompaniment, I got up, in front of the entire congregation, without any electric light, held a beeswax candle in front of me, and NAILED it. I I didn’t hurry through it, my voice didn’t crackle even once. My mother, of course, was beaming. Last, would you please tell me why you pick Audio Technica (headphones, I presume ?) moreover, line 6 equipment ? Is it because of a particular diversity of the unit(s), and how do you program the sound and feel of your instruments? Chris Squire’s sounds particularly ?? Was forming BG a natural progression? Did it have anything to do with the internet allowing talent to be heard and seen? Ooops, apologies if that was a stupid question. With such a varied repertoire, I commend you further. It’s certainly more dedication than flipping a McBurger or something for the whole set of artists to gel in a band with constantly shifting styles and artists. Wow !! May I inquire as to what city you are from ? Quickly, Richie, your instrument collection is enviable. Since I’m a Bassist, the blue MM 4-string with light colored fretboard (Maple? Ash?) is my favorite ! Richie, really GREAT job on Kyrie !! I love Mr Mister. I have their first two cds (I ALMOST said albums,, OY !! 🤪) I believe “uniform of youth” and/or “tangent tears” from Mr Mister’s debut, would be a great cover for you all to consider. Plus they’re both rockin’ songs!! Have you covered any Steely Dan ?, you certainly have the chops for it, and your keyboardist could play “kid Charlemagne “and his prowess would do it right. I want to recognize ALL of you most talented musicians, and,, most of the “special guests “. I get a completely platonic “warm-fuzzy” watching you all perform. You artists are obviously close, and can go from goofy, to dialed-in-tight, in a snap ! Vocal Harmonies are complex and beautiful !! Thank you for bringing a smile to my face, and helping me with riffs, which, at times, I just cannot seem to repeat without seeing someone showing me first. I’ve decided I’m going to donate, and I hope you’re getting sponsored, because I most certainly believe you deserve being recognized. I cannot give as much as I’d like because I’m a disabled veteran, so my income is fixed at “not much”, however, I certainly will. Would you please convey my thoughts to Emily as well ? The video where she’s a club singer, with the goofy translations are hilarious. Hard to believe, although I do, she did that in a single take. I’m also a Black Sabbath and RJ Dio fan. So her (and your) covers of Dio are quite good. Your family and friends are truly an inspiration. Thank you for taking time to read my comments. It took a while before I decided to write. I’m not one to waste my time giving undeserved praise, and it most certainly is not in your case (cases ?) Oh, before I exit, I’ve wondered why I cannot see more of your covers ? You’ve turned me on to “ Kill the King” for example. BG always seems to fit an entire ensemble into a relatively small basement room with all the equipment needed as well. Andy documenting Kill the King, from the only space appearing available. Is there a way to find more of your,ahhhh,,,catalog? Hello also to Andy, and keyboardist the “man of a million songs”, including recognition to any and all Artists I’ve missed mentioning. Your Recognition is no less deserved.
