Hey wait, I've just noticed Mystic Oriental Dream has the same kanji (or whatever, forgive my ignorance) as Touhou Youyoumu. So, it would translate to "Mystic Oriental Dream ~ Perfect Cherry Blosssom"? Sounds pretty :3

@SparenofIria Oh, I know. I meant "youyoumu" translated to "Mystic Oriental Dream". I was just commenting on the fact that the full English title of the game could be "Touhou 7 - Mystic Oriental Dream ~ Perfect Cherry Blossom", since the title of this song has the same kanji as the title of the game.

bouteille d'eau 1 IN the PoFV music room ZUN states that he just used the version form Ghostly Feild Club. So yes, you are correct.

Geez it's a lot like IaMP's Night Falls ~ Evening Star... (In the fact that it's pretty much an exact replica, besides one really pretty part, which is always unique to the CDs). Aya's theme, Wind God Girl, is similar.

Dear FlandresOldWorld, You would be right in the description, but I don't think that those kanji actually translate to Perfect Cherry Blossom. But another way to think about it is if ZUN wanted us English speakers to know the game as Perfect Cherry Blossom, maybe he wanted us to know the song as that as well. ZUN knows...

It doesn't mean perfect cherry blossom. It means mystical dream (妖々夢). So the title of this song is Mystical Dream ~ Ancient Temple. And the name of PCB is Mystical Dream ~ Perfect Cherry Blossom.

@ flandresoldworld 'youyoumu' does not translate to Perfect Cherry Blossom. None of the english names match the actual meaning of the Kanji. Take SWR and UNL. The only difference in the pronunciation is 'soku' and that doesn't even come close to the meaning change. Not to make you feel bad or anything, but just to let you know. It does sound nice though. ^_^
