Such great history lessons. These old buildings on this channel sometimes date back to 900 AD. And I bet they were built on pagan sites that date back to the mists of time. Mind-blowing for me, an American. If I were British, I would have become an archaeologist for sure.

Very interesting, again a beautiful Church. I love Walssingham, Norfolk has some wonderful sites going way back to the very first footsteps of Christianity.

My cats killed several rabbits, including a HUGE jackrabbit - and left it's dead carcass on the front lawn for everyone to see. I'm sure it was meant to be a charming addition to the roses for when visitors arrive. Shame they never have something like that on Downton Abbey. We're all class over here. ;)

Chris, the next time you try to make contact with ghosts from the past, I would suggest you try to speak using as much Old English language as possible since the modern variation would be quite foreign to those who lived during the 1500s.

Hi Kev, Thankyou for your supportive comments :) But with regard to equipment. I have caught this phenomena on a range of cams I own, and by others too. I have paid for an engineer to examine all of my equipment, and they are all working perfectly. We shot last weekend, and no purring on this occasion. It is at best, spasmodic. But I can understand your concern.

Hello Chris, A lovely presentation. In about minuet 7 there is a very fast moving light from bottom right upward. Seem far to fast and straight for an insect. The very fast moving orbs is good proof of orb activity. Bugs leave no contrails unless they carry flares. Thank You Chris. DaveyJO

My cat Trinket passed away years ago but still visits me by jumping up on my bed and I can feel his paws walking and lays down against my legs. Has this ever happened to you? Amazing! Almost the whole time that you were there you could hear whisper like sounds and at the end they were louder. Although no special video footage was captured, the audio was quite fascinating. If I were you I would test the crap out of that camcorder to prove that the cat purring is not the camera's fault. But perhaps you already have? Keep up the great work, my favorite paranormal investigator! :)

Thank you my friend :) Very much appreciated! Regarding access, highly unlikely unless I am prepared to pay a sizeable sum as a fee for them to allow me. Sadly here in the UK everything has a price, and even the authorities have a tariff. They would charge me to have two `safety officers`present, and there would be other restrictions imposed. But if this was being filmed for a major TV show, then access would not be an issue. Such is life, so I try to work around this as best I can.

I have stayed at the Bell and the room we stayed in was haunted. I wont go into detail because it is private, but believe me i was a changed person while we where there

I just found out that it was room 10 we where staying in. So if anyone has stayed in the room as well maybe someone could find out if they have has some experiences

Who tells a better ghost story? Montague Rhodes James or Edgar Allen Poe? I think they were perhaps equally talented, though they certainly didn't share the same emotional states. If they had met each other briefly, only they and God know what they would have said to each other. Would they argue on who was better? Compare ideas? Perhaps even help to expound, and perhaps even improve upon, one anothers works? There's no telling now. Every moment in time contains almost infinite possibilities. We can't cover all the streams of the possibilities in just one lifetime(if you believe in reincarnation).

I no lot about the paranormal Chris

While I am a scientific sceptic, I am open to there being more things in heaven and Earth than I can imagine. Nevertheless, the EVP noises are in most cases hard to make out as words. Personally, I think too much imagination is used to interpret them. Somehow there needs to be a lot more real science and proof in this business. It does seem ghosts dont like unmanipulated scientific method.
