Now, I can't be the only one wondering: how does Isaac know what a modern hotel would be like? Dropping trash?

They have had inns for hundreds of years. I assume he has been around long enough to have learned "hotel", possibly from others who died later. For the trash, he doesn't like it as it doesn't exactly fit in with the bucolic nature of nature.

Personally, if I wanted to increase the amount of people that went to the place as guests I would increase the library. Have part of it for the old book lovers, and buy a few science books that are the introductory type to have a section. Then in the web can proudly say "have a nice library" and allows guests to read in the library. I know that without a proper system, they may accidentally get some books stolen but... Also, can't they search if any of the books is worth anything?

The UK version is so UK. The American version is better tuned to Americana sensibilities.

@@williamjones7163 a lot of Americans seem to also really enjoy the original (on HBO max) which, given the different cultures, humour etc is kind of surprising. That being said, I really enjoy both versions but the original has a soft spot for me (cos I grew up with Horrible Histories)
