As someone that doesn’t believe in ghosts but really wants to, I watch a lot of Ghost-Hunting shows. The reason behind flickering lights and moving objects isn’t the ghost manually doing all of these things; they are effecting the surrounding area just by being there (we produce electromagnetic waves and heat). The exception to this is when as you say, ‘Ghosts doing your job’ because they are just re-enacting what they did when they were alive. If you watch the Buzzfeed Unsolved series, a lot of their ‘evidence’ is a load of shit but they have a few good findings. One is a tale of a frustrated soldier that constantly marches around at night. The host was woken up by someone marching around upstairs and it was pretty fucking loud; obviously I realise that it could literally just be someone from the team doing it deliberately but Buzzfeed Unsolved is one of the few I would actually believe
As someone who believes in ghosts and has had a few experiences, I understand where you’re coming from. I’m the kind of person who tries to use reasoning before labeling anything as a ghost activity. But this is a big reason why I don’t watch ghost hunting shows or “ghost caught on tape” videos because it’s the internet, anything can be faked.i rely solely on my own experiences and the things those close to me have experienced as the center of my belief.
10:45 Is most likely actually an insect of some kind on the lens, out of focus, if you watch the way it moves around! I've seen insects show up super white like this when they're chilling on the camera once nightmode switches on.
What always makes me laugh about ghosts is ghosts are just suppose to be dead people and 99% of people are normal, decent and kind in their life and yet whenever it comes to ghosts they are always made out to be evil and dark and out to get you 😂 I don’t believe in ghosts or the paranormal anyway but that’s just something that has always tickled me when it comes to the idea of ghosts and spirits haha!

ah yes, the people not understanding cameras videos and the people who've figured out that with some string and a couple of lighting tricks you can get internet points videos. At least stuff like this is mostly harmless though not like those tv shows where they're going around "fighting demons" in people's basements 😆
Back when we used cameras with film to take pictures, you could double expose them and it sometimes created a ghostly figure. we have one where my cousin was dressed up in my great grandma's clothes, and it got double exposed over a photo of my mom sitting down, so it looks like a ghost (my cousin in old clothes) is standing right where my mom is sitting like she's possessing her.

I was out graffiti'ing one night and I witnessed a "ghost" hunt - but I couldn't believe what I saw when they kept retaking the shots cos it wasn't "real" enough - anyway I found the video on RU-vid and sent in comments about the 5 or 6 takes on each section they uploaded - but they blocked me when I laughed at them..........to be fair I swear you can hear me laughing on one of their "takes" 😅 but sadly I can't see it.........spoooky
CCTV footage being constant is funny to me. Imagine it like this, footage that shows the outside of a house and people walking by outside. They record over the same footage, so its the same positioned footage of the same location, but the remnant of movement from the previo footage bleeds over. Its just recorded over footage that has remnants from the previous footage.
Finally have a story to share under one of these videos, very recent as well, I have no evidence other than my word. When I was a child I had a few experiences however chalked this up to me being a child, since then have been 50/50 on the existence of ghost, always very interested to know the truth but want first hand experience to be sure, and now I think I’ve had it. It wasn’t anything crazy but it was enough to push me over the line. A few days ago I was in an Airbnb, have recently moved to the uk and been living out of airbnbs and couch surfing. When I first moved into this one I met one of the neighbours who had told me that the previous owner had died about a year ago, he then also blamed the vaccine so I didn’t think much of it. Now it’s the last night in the flat and nothing spooky had happened in the 20 nights I was there. I’ve just walked in and gone into the bathroom, turned the light on and it’d turned itself off a few seconds after. It gave me chills but I thought there was probably a reasonable explanation for this happening. It was one of the pulley lights, don’t really ever see them in Aus so maybe if you pull it too hard it double pulls or something. Anyway I tried to ignore it and got on with my night. An hour or two later I’m in the main room of the flat when I hear a bang from the bathroom. Immediately chills run down my body, I grab a pair of scissors next to me, and slowly approach the door. Holding my phone light in one hand and the scissors in the other, I push the door open with my foot to find all of my toiletries knocked from the side. My mind once again starts racing for an explanation but nothing like this has happened the entire time I was there, and I couldn’t see a way everything just suddenly fell. It made no sense and I was now officially tweaking. Now sitting backed against the wall, scissors still with me, like they’d do anything to a spirit, I begin looking up signs of a presence in a flat. Things added up, my phone running out of charge fast, random creaking and knocking noises constantly, the light constantly flickering, and of course eery feelings and chills, everything I’d kinda found explanations for but just maybe this was why. After a while I’d come to the rationalisation that even if a presence was there it couldn’t or wouldn’t hurt me, kinda just gave troller vibes and nothing really happened up until I went to bed. There was a knocking just above my head on the wall, beside my bed. Whenever I looked it stopped, looked away and it continued. I decided to just ignore it, and eventually it stopped, the floor creaked and a chill spot moved down my body, as if it was the presence walking off. I get this is a pretty generic story, and if you have explanations feel free to share, however in the moment and even now I couldn’t find any that weren’t a stretch. I believe a lot more now than I did, however there is still a slight skeptic in me. Now I’m in the uk I really want to do paranormal investigations, I think it could be really interesting, obviously I’m sure there’s a lot of tourist traps with fishing line and hidden speakers, but a country this old is probably the best place to find out for real.

I'm in an odd spot when it comes to ghosts. Like I believe in them to an extent but these "proof" pics/footage I just dismiss. But had personal "spooky" experiences, so yeah. It's amusing with the gf though. Like at her house there's often odd noises (creaks/steps upstairs, etc) and one of the times was a really loud bang that had her cat shite itself yet we (well, I) went up to check and was bugger all knocked over or anything. She's a total sceptic so just wind her up with "Oh, it's your ghost again..." craics but, same time, it's happened a fair few times and definitely weird.
I don't believe in ghosts but if they could physically interact with stuff why do boring things like close doors when you could push people over and steal cars
10:34 OMG THE GLOWING ORB!!!!! My dad is the most down to earth guy ever, is not religious and doesn't believe in ghosts BUT when he was younger he once had an experience where he woke up in the middle of the night and saw a glowing orb floating in his room and he knew it could kill him if it wanted to and there was nothing he could do about it and it was just burning so hot that it seemed like it was melting and my dad looked at it, frightened, and then decided to just turn around and not look at it, show it that he was not trying to provoke it. He kept seeing the glow against the wall but after a while he fell back asleep and in the morning it was gone. He swears it happened although there's no conclusions that he can tie to it. I'm going to show him that video and asked him if it looked like that.
My house is about 200 years old and a kid drowned in the well in our yard a few decades ago (way before we lived there obviously) but I’ve never seen or experienced anything and it has an over all good vibe so idk if I believe in ghosts - because if a house was going to be haunted it would likely be mine like imagine how many people have been born and died in here??? My brothers seen ghosts before and he’s very logical but I’m not sure how much I believe hkm

That camera clearly is very low resolution with very high compression. the guy is in dark clothes and he moves from a light background to a dark background, so the bad resolution and compression just make him seem to disappear. you can still sorta see him likely from the little reflection his jacket shoulder and hood has from the nearby streetlight.
