Ran this deck (with a couple of changes) a couple times now and it works great and it's VERY fun to play! As an Angels collector, Giada made me very happy!

i personally recommend adding in metallic mimic. it comes down early and does a nice giada impression in a pinch.

The new Sanctuary Warden is soooo good with Giada. Trust me, mono white/angel tribal for life

Your assessment on Youthful Valkyrie and Segovian Angel has me really confused the only time I would see these cards being bad is after a board wipe or Giada has been removed. At that point everyone is rebuilding, even if it is late game and Giada is out at worst you will get a 2/2 angel with flying and vigilance for Segovian Angel and a 2/2 angel with flying that can get bigger. the upper cap for how big that could get is much higher. I think this deck needs more lower costing angels with more card draw.

Best swap was Brave the Elements in instead of Rebuff the Wicked. Made this change immediately in my Giada EDH deck. Thanks!

A neat bit of removal I didn't see in the deck one might consider is Crib Swap. It's a Tribal instant that is a Changeling spell so Giada can help cast it. Mileage may vary but I do enjoy little interactions like that.

I run far more cheaper angels in my giada deck. Get the beats started early and when my bigger angels start coming in they could be much bigger. Protection is hugely important in it.

Facts about white is that the best cards for the color, the staples, don't get reprinted often if ever.

I love her alot i did have Sephora sky blade at first but when i got her i switched it out and i couldn't be happier I love Giada so much

Finale of Glory also made it into my deck. It's only an Angel play at ten mana, but I set my angel deck up with some hardcore ramp between land tax and a lot of white reducers, and when it is an angel card it is a ten 4/4 angel card.

I played essentially this deck and it really cruised (turn 1 esper sentinel that was never removed helped immensely)!!! Big strong attacks every turn. My final opponent that game buffed an invisible stalker to lethal for next turn with no cards left in his library. Then I drew my Secret Rendezvous for the win!

My mono white angel deck took years to collect because yeah money, it ain't cheap, but I'm so proud of what it has become. My commander for the longest time was Gisela the broken blade. It used to be an angel human mono white until I could finally get my mana to work with the heavier cost angels.

Would love to see your thoughts on Ziatora. I manage to crack a gilded rare of her and pretty much got my list together but it could always be better! I would love to see what you have to say about the flinging dragon.

I'm going full ham on that +1/+1 counter interaction. The Ozalith and Resourceful Defense ensures they're not to waste when Angel's die. Also with the Ozilith, it allows things like Mimic Vat and Herald of the Host to have temporary angels come in Beefy and instantly store up counters when they get exiled at end of turn. Angelic Sleuth can also hone in on them temporary angels leaving the battlefield with counters on them

For my deck list I would also try to include shattered angel and angel of invention since life gain and pumping angels is nice!

I am playing a high budget decklist, but in every game I see it, Mask of Memory is MVP.

The mono white card draw is so difficult. You either need to dead combat damage via an equipment or pay mana when you gain life. With the latter, there is no mana left to cast spells

My pet card Radiant Archangel is gonna go straight inn to this deck.

Extra plans lens is amazing in the deck

helm of the host might be a good addition as well getting 2 copies of your commander which will double the 1/1 counters for new angels or getting another copy of an angel already in play and the copy will be even bigger and the copies stick around

I ended up throwing in Aetherflux Reservoir and a Strip Mine due to running into quite a few fog like effects and Glacial Chasms.

Even though it's got a hefty CMC, a potential game ender would be Legion Loyalty, giving all your creatures myriad. The Angels that would come in via this ability (and not die to the legend rule) would get extremely big, potentially allowing you to one-shot your opponents all at once.

Giada is a exciting new card for angel fans like myself and I'm no stranger to mono white however.. The weird thing about angels as a tribe is that except from Lyra they don't actually support each other much. The only thing they tend to have in common asides from the angel type is the high CMC.. Which is not a great thing to have in common. xD Fortunately there are a decent amount of cost reduction cards and Giada of course addresses this issue herself being a mana dork for angels.. But where this deck will likely really struggle is card draw. Enabling good card draw will make the difference in this deck drastically...

I’m glad to see more people playing mono white angels as angels are my favorite tribe in magic . One combo I wanna share with you guys is Bishop of wings + Divine Visitation . Bishop of wings states: (w)(w) Whenever angel enters the battlefield under your control you gain 4 life . Whenever an angel dies , create a 1/1 white spirit . This card is already strong alone in an angel deck because 4 life is enough to trigger angelic accord and Valkyrie harbinger off of 1 angel coming in . But let’s talk about Divine visitation which is 3(w)(w) enchantment that states If one or more creature tokens would be created under your control, that many 4/4 white Angel creature tokens with flying and vigilance are created instead. So now with bishop of wings and divine visitation if you’re angels die , you create an 4/4 angel with vigilance /flying instead of the spirit and the angel coming back in will trigger bishop of wings , gaining you 4 life each time an angel comes in , your tokens can now swing freely with no fear of dying and instead have a positive drawback if they die , of course angels synergyze with life gain and all the angels coming back in can trigger other cards like giada and cleric class making your angels come back even stronger and with more life , I hope you guys try this angel tribal combo yourselves , a lot of people don’t know the combo also so it’s quite humorous when the effect plays out without people realizing its potential.

Can someone please explain to me why Youthful Valkyrie is sitting at $8.00??

How is Segovian Angel/Youthful Valkyrie bad late game? If you have a decent board of angels(and Giada out) then you get counters on Segovian Angel/Youthful Valkyrie so now you just payed one/two mana for a potentially "big" angel. Sure if Giada is not out at that point then sure its not a great late game play, but still i wouldnt cut them from the deck.

Re: Empyrial Storm at 5:53. You say as they enter one at a time, Giada will give them each progressively more counters...which means the opposite is true too, the first one will enter with less. Let's pretend you do get two and you have no other angels except for Giada: The first will get one counter due to seeing Giada, and the second will get two when it sees Giada and the previous token, resulting in a 5/5 and a 6/6. With Entreat the Angels, each angel will still see each other Angel that entered at the same time anyway and each will enter with the maximum counters: Both will enter and see two other angels (Giada and the other token) and both will get two counters, meaning you'd affectively get two 6/6s. So your reasoning is actually wrong for Empyrial Storm and it is not better in this way. (Don't get me wrong, it's a better card overall due to lack of top deck manipulation as you say, but I'm talking solely about the counters).

I completely disagree with Youthful Valkyrie's removal, Giada pumps up your angels by giving them counters when they enter equal to the amount of angels you've casted while she's on the board. Youthful Valkyrie gets pretty big from my playtesting and helps Giada increase that pump effect faster.
