Che meraviglia, voci clamorose e artisti straordinari. Cecchele è uno dei più grandi tra i tenori di sempre, ingiustamente forse meno famoso di altri fuori dall'ambiente lirico. Sentirlo mi emoziona ogni volta
Only Italian could sing like this. It must be the origine of the language alongside with the great italian tradition of opera singing. When we listen the singer from 30’s 50’s 60’s the voice always sounds full and balanced, the vibrato is natural and pleasant, the melody line is perfectly led all through, perfectly clean text yet fluent accoustic- instrumental presence of the voice. The line of the melody ( canto legato ) and its dinamic is flexible and beautifully expressive, voice overall sounds grandious and noble. I like so much the Simon Boccanegra from Verdi and I prefer the older records from 50’s 60’s to be honest.
