I believe Wilt could play like this and better in today’s NBA, and I say this even though Giannis is my favorite player. I submit; Wilt ran an official 10.8 100 meter, and a hand timed 4.4 40, which is likely a 4.6- the same as prime Lebron. Giannis has freaky stature- he’s truly 6’11.5”, listed at 242, but he most definitely is 260, with a 7’4” wingspan, and insane athletic ability and agility. Wilt Chamberlain was 7’1.5” barefoot, 290 early in his career and 310 late in his career, he had a 7’8” wingspan, pinned a shot at the very top of the backboard (there is a picture of it), had a 6’6” high jump in college, dominated in triple jump, shot put, and ran a 49 second 400 time! He played an average of 46 minutes per game for his career! His competition is much better than people believe, as he faced 10 hall of fame centers in the 60s, and faced the Celtics (never with less than 6 hall of famers) over and over again. They invented offensive goaltending because of Wilt. Wilt is the reason you aren’t allowed to dunk free throws. Wilt was also incredibly strong, as everyone contests to. Many of his feats of strength are unverified, but there are videos of him lifting grown men like a doll, throwing NBA players with one arm, and he did everything in a league where he couldn’t lower his shoulder into opponents or back down opponents. He scored a large percentage of his shots from fadeaway, averaged 24 rebounds a game for his career, and averaged 50 points per game for a whole season! He owns the single game rebound record at 55 against Bill Russell, and single game scoring record of 100. He had more 50 point games in one season than Michael a jordan had in his career. He retired with 90 records and still owns 73. He received offers from the NFL, professional soccer, and NBA until his mid 50s. He became a professional volleyball player, played longer than his NBA career and became a hall of famer in volleyball as well. Giannis is the freakiest NBA athlete in decades, but Wilt is on the mountain top by himself.
