The way he just leans over players and dunks when in the post is what impresses me so damn much. He literally jumps and just REACHES over. It blows my mind every time.
He could have left Bucks for a super team but he is not born in America his mentality went back to trust the Universe. It brought Jhrue Holiday the missing piece and PJ. Tucker. Not considered super but they are relentless which is better. He said I trusted these guys and mgt. Wow! I did not even watch the bubble NBA it was like a scrimmage😩
This is even more satisfying to watch now, especially with Giannis winning a championship and a freakish all-around performance to boot in the last game of the finals.
It’s so awesome having Giannis here in Milwaukee! The way he can be a savage on the court, yet so humble in real life, it’s all so great to watch. Go bucks
Keep preaching man! Because I got a Greek cousin who keeps rambling that Giannis is a fraud, he can't play, he can't that, and I've told him that if you think that what Giannis does is easy, you play in the NBA, be a two time MVP, a defensive player of the year and lead the Bucks to a ring! I'd much rather hear LBJ's, KD's and Magic's opinion, instead of my cousin's opinion who can't tell the difference between a ball and a hole in tthe ground!
@@alexandrossimitzis146 that’s usually how it goes. Giannis is Milwaukee’s ticket to a championship. Honestly, I don’t think there is a player who’s worked harder to improve his craft than Giannis. He deserves to win a championship and build a dynasty. Im proud to support the Bucks
@@antonioreyes2382 Tell that to my cousin Giannis! I mean I have a Greek cousin (I'm Greek myself) who doesn't know the first thing about basketball and he thinks that he does! And he has said so many stupid things such as that Giannis is a fraud, he's fake, because he hasn't won a ring and he idolizes LBJ; Luka Donsic, Dirk Nowitzki and Pau Gasol. And none of these guys had won a ring at age 26. And the latest thing bs comment he made was that Giannis is getting worse because he won't win the MVP. First off, we don't know that for a fact, second there's an MVP voting fatigue, and third, according to his so-called logic, the MVP should also win the most improved player award, and the rest of the NBA players are getting worse! LeBron for damn near a decade, but he won't say that because he's ignorant! Luka hasn't won anything yet, but he says that he's a great player, and he's, but my cousin so shifts the goalposts when it comes to comparing Giannis, to other NBA players it's unbelievable! And he even goes as far as to say that he's fair and that he knows basketball! Gimme a break! He didn't even know that Pau Gasol, as great as he was, he was Robin, to Kobe's Batman! He didn't know that LBJ has bounced around the NBA, even abandoning his own hometown to ring-chase, and he still choked away the 2011 series! And Dirk, in 2011, in his only ring in his damn near 20 years in the NBA won just one ring! I could go on and on about my arguments against my cousin Giannis, but he couldn't recognize a hoop from a hole in the ground! But this is not the worse part! There are some racist white Greeks who hate Giannis and his brothers, just because they're blacks, and they say they're not Greeks! A couple of them showered with racial epithets, one of them on live TV (Takis Tsoukalas, is kind of sports analyst, only that he's a huge Olympiacos fan, and Thanasis Antetokoumpo back then was playing for Panathinaikos, he had some huge dunks and plays in a game against Olympiacos, and Tsoukalas, crossed the line when he called him a monkey and an axxhole! But the was taken to court. And also there was a guy who was like a University bigwig, and posted on social media that Giannis is an N word, and an a-hole who just plays basketball! And I replied alright mr smartass! You get your behind over to the NBA, become a superstar there, advertise Greece all over the world, like Giannis does! I'm an English teacher, we teachers are supposed to believe in equality, so we can teach everybody and you're a disgrace to education and to Greece! I hope they fire you and sue you! And that's what happened!) But, I think in general, Giannis and his brothers are loved by us Greeks. Giannis and his brothers are Greeks! Period!
The fact he can do a Euro step from outside the paint or even before the free throw line, yet still dunk it is unbelievable! He dominates the same way Wilt the Stilt did in the old black and white footage. 🤷♂️
Every once in a while a player comes along that just gets it. As a young man for me it was Kobe. At 31 now it's Giannis. I'm so glad to get to watch his rise as he hopefully wins a handful of rings. The kid is unbelievable. He loves the fans too and you know he's genuine and authentic
That video interview of his rookie season is EXTREMELY inspiring. He's learned so much about the game. Improved dramatically. Picked up new moves; and plays within his skillset. Best player in the game. Future GOAT. Fear the 🦌 ~ Hawks fan, BTW
He is the GOAT already, after the James' injury, I don't know who's going to stop him..., who's gonna avoid the storm from Greece. Good luck to every team, I think whatever giannis want he's gonna get it! "BUCKS for CHAMPIONS". Kayla...!!!
All of the game scenes were nice. But most of all, what amazed me is at 0:11. He said "I wanna be, i wanna be nba player". You can clearly see his passion, he really wants that. And maybe, he really sees that moment coming. He looks at nowhere and he sees that moment. Beautiful.
The way he demands space isn’t necessarily just because of his physical attributes: without his effort and positioning his physical attributes mean nothing. This is why he’s so unique. His understanding of his abilities, at his height and athleticism is unreal.
Gian-Nasty-s Antetokoumpo. Ok he can't shoot very well but I'm sure he's doing his best to train it. I really like this kid since the first time i've seen him play.
@@jeromeclarencebenter6759 He is only 26 dude...even MJ was 28 when he got his first ring. And this year with Jrue Holiday on the team and PJ Tucker we are strong enough.....there is no Bledsoe anymore.
@@xtravagancy7023 Jae Crowder can't stop Giannis on his own. Maybe as a help defender. The best one-on-one defense on Giannis, I have seen from Al Horford in the playoffs to be honest, even if he got posterized that one time.
I see people saying no energy from the commentators but you have to realize us Milwaukee fans that watch every game are just immune nowadays, when he dunks it’s like whatever.
Look at giannis the night of drafts, and listen to the fans, what they expect now from him: every year mvp, best defender award, and the championship ofcourse...
@@shivery_timbers1430 It just show how great he is tho. I've missed him Dunking on people every game he doesn't go that hard to the rim anymore (I wonder what made him changed considering he's still young). Now I just like to watch his post fade and passing they are nice to see.
👏 NBA is here again! I love to watch dunking on everybody. I haven’t enjoyed NBA as much as since MJ retired, but we have the freak Greek now. Love it!
7 years later wins a championship with the organisation that believed in him, giannis you are an inspiration to everyone, the disrespect ended in game 6 vs the suns.
In 30 years they'll say Giannis played against midgets not as athletic as him lmao 😂😂😂 the same thing they say about Wilt Chamberlain, because greatness can't be explained sometimes.
His stride. His wingspan. Sheer power, anything in the paint is a dunk. Ladies and gentlemen, if Shaquille worked out religiously, Giannis is a present day Shaquille O’Neal.
@@SadBheeseChurger no they won’t, as long as the game keeps growing at the rate it is and the salary stays higher than most sports than the game will still improve and these highlights won’t mean much. Look at wilts highlights, he could barely get off the floor yet they said he had a 40+ inch vertical😂 Right now we have to enjoy the moment though since as of right now there is nothing else like him
The game has evolved. Just when I think I saw everything as a fan. I have never seen a player with Giannis' length power, confidence and authority. This guy is amazing! I have been tricked by listening to the Stephen A Smiths.
His physical superiority, how he just bumps defenders out of the way and then power slams with ease, is comical. It reminds me of Shaq. Obviously, different styles of play, bit the same vibes.
Giannis back then : I want to be an, i want to be an NBA player Giannis now : a living monster on the sport, making some good defense look like a soft defense, is a star player destroying people career, dunking while there's 3 player on the plain, dunking while he's surrounded by all the enemy He really is unstopable just need to train more on the 3pt shoot and he's probably a True Monster
“I want to be an NBA player” Meanwhile.. 4 All-Defensive Team 5 All-NBA 1 All-Rookie Team 1 NBA Defensive Player of the Year 1 NBA Most Improved Player 2 NBA Most Valuable Player 8 NBA Player of the Month 13 NBA Player of the Week 1 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player 1 NBA Champion
If giannis had the proper time as most Americans to create a basketball schedule for the future...now they would talk about the goat 🐐...but he was a late bloomer in basketball and making happen all this success is remarkable...mind blowing
He may be using force in his game but there is a lot of intelligence in all he is doing.. he know last how to use his body to the max .. he does. It look that strong but he is ferocious..
Giannis is like an old school amercian muscle car (powerful, sturdly built, ferocious & has a whole lot of torque) and a european sports car (sleek, stealthy, elegant, graceful & moves with a whole lot of finesse) blended into one. He's like an old school Dodge Challenger & a modern day lamborghini gallardo rolled into one.
