Honestly, he's underrated for the fact that when he's not trying to be funny like, "Put in Kyrie and kick out Ja" he's not funny he's stupid not even hilariously stupid. Like if Wildes had said, "Put in Kyrie instead of Kawhi" I wouldn't have as much of a problem with it because of the fact that we haven't seen Kawhi play in about a year.

He's been with First things First for couple year and the chemistry of these 3 are off the chart. This show has come a long way since Nick and CC, then Nick, Brandon, awkward Wilde and in and out Chris.

I still can’t fathom how Tatum JUST GOT IN. He’s had superstar numbers for the past 3 years, and he certainly has passed the eye test since his rookie year. Dude has appeared in multiple conference finals. Then you look at Ja who has had superstar numbers only this past year and has only played 14 or so playoff games. I’m not saying Ja doesn’t deserved to be called a superstar, I’ve watched enough Memphis to know he is one. I just don’t get why the standard changes from player to player, and particularly why Nick is so late to the party on Jayson Tatum.

I thinks it’s more that Tatum has just started to make big waves. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a very big Tatum fan and I think he’s a superstar, but prior to this year, there wasn’t some big superstar “arrival” thing yet until he shut down KD and knocked him out in the first round (granted if you watch last season, he shut down KD in their series then too, but they lost so there’s no spotlight on it), where as ja kinda took the league by storm this season after knocking curry out of the play in last season. I think Ja’s arrival has just been a lot louder where as tatum’s was really under the table until the second half of this season when he finally just took the reigns on the Celtics and started dominating. He has been to the ECF before but after that season, He hadn’t made, comparatively speaking, much noise until the second half of this year.

Wildes is the only one of these guys who stepped down to take this job lol. The other two got promoted into this job. Wildes was a television executive before this for over a decade lol almost two decades. He actually stepped down into this role, from above. Nick and Chris got promoted up from radio lol. So the gap in success and experience is huge between radio guys getting promoted to do a morning TV show and an executive stepping down to do a morning TV show lol. Just saying keep that in mind

I'm super confused as to how Tatum was the last one in, yet Ja is already there? Ja just made the jump to star status this season. Literally wasn't even an all star last year. Tatum is a 3 time all star, about to accrue is 2nd all nba team (3rd team 2 yrs ago, barely missed last year, possibly 1st team this year.), and has been to multiple conferences finals.

@@robofish312 why do you say that? He was named 3rd team all nba in his 3rd season. Was on a tear right before the covid shutdown. In the last 17 games he averaged 28-7-3 on 47% fg, 45% 3pt. Then in the bubble playoffs averaged 25-10-5 leading them to the conference finals. Last year the team was a mess but he still put up 26-7-4 on above average shooting. He has a 60 pt game and 6 total 50 pt games including playoffs.

He scores at a rate this year like booker and Irving but they’ve been doing it longer and the team success is coaching/culture as they have a great record without him.

The warriors seemed lazy and uninterested a lot yesterday, and the warriors were just off. Some of the shots may have been defense, but they were also clanking a lot of wide open shots.

In terms of game, sure Jokic with his two MVPs and his ridiculous numbers is technically "better" but going by that. According to advanced analytics. Nobody is actually better than Jokic lol. After all he's literally the greatest of all time in PER. Better than wilt, Jordan, LeBron, Magic, Bird, Kareem. everyone. The first ever with 2k 1k 500. Highest win shares. And defensive win shares. Points per 100 for and against. WAR stats. And so much more. So yeah lol going by stats and analytics nobody would be above Jokic. Broussard is wrong with the Dame assessment. Harden did not play at a star level when he was healthy. Dame talked about on multiple interviews that since the start of Olympics training, he has been hurt bad. And even if you watched him this season, you know how injured he was while playing. He wouldn't attack the rim at all and when he tried to he would look anything but comfortable and he would hold his abdominal part with pain. What he has done the last 4-5 years has been incredible and he has showed up in the playoffs too. Since that Pelicans lossi he has been nothing short of sensational. And when last seen healthy, even though he said the injury has been bothering him for some time now but hasn't had a major impact until the olympics, he put up over 34 a game in the playoffs and had the best statistical playoff game ever. The highest playoff average this year is Luka with him being just over 31ppg. He is a top 10 player when healthy, a top 3-4 most explosive offensive weapon and he has done much more than some of the people in this "club." He is better than Ja, CP3, Booker, Tatum and you could make a real case for him over Joel because Embiid has never won a competitive playoff series and he really hasn't dominated a playoffs series yet the way Dame has.

I don’t disagree with nicks take on the 12 but as a Celtics fan, and I love Tatum but Book has played in a NBA Finals that being said also I don’t know if you can have Luka and not Book. Luka is a Superstar but what has he accomplished that Book hasn’t? I honestly think the suns may have lost in the 1st round of book didn’t come back in to play. He simply deserves a spot and I’m not a Suns fan

Superstar is an individual label. Booker quite simply isn’t on Lukas level as a basketball player. It’s a team game and booker has been on better teams.
