@@wildplaceswildgame Good that they aren't all contaminated by that class of (insert Sage hunter description) releasing farmed genetics. The local breeds anywhere are all quite distinctive in their own interesting way. Even there a few good ones have been out there among the knife handles for at least 50 years where they can get a good feed. Interesting to see the number of reasonable/good heads and big stags about where they haven't starved themselves yet. At a recent gathering of those who worked in the industry a common theme was there seem to be more deer and some of the better ones encountered around now than since the sixties. .
